What this solution does
The catalog import module for 1C-Bitrix allows free uploading of products, prices, stock levels, and images from supplier price lists. The functionality includes a trial run, rollback of changes, and catalog protection. The system supports importing from files in formats Excel, CSV, XML, YML, CommerceML, JSON, HTML, DBF, and PDF. Data sources can be a local computer, a server, a link (including Yandex.Disk, Google Sheets, Dropbox, Mail.ru Cloud), a supplier website with authentication (login, password, token, login form), via FTP or FTPS protocols, from an IMAP email inbox, or through a JSON API with paginated output. Uploads can be performed manually or on a schedule. Before writing data, the system displays a preview of changes, stops the process upon detecting invalid price lists, preserves manual edits made by content managers, and allows any run to be undone. The module automatically determines encoding, delimiters, and header rows. It supports ZIP, GZ, and TAR archives, proxy servers, as well as processing of files with multiple sheets, separator rows, and merging of duplicate rows typical of the standard Bitrix CSV export.
The catalog import module supports data loading from Excel, XML, YML, and JSON files. It processes all element fields, properties of any type (list values, dictionary values, and bindings are created automatically), SEO templates, product parameters, prices by type and quantity ranges, warehouse stock levels, purchase prices, barcodes, discounts, sets, bundles, and trade offers. Trade offers are supported in formats including a single row, a group of rows, or a separate sheet. The module also imports sections and highload blocks.
The system automatically matches fields by column names, validates the correspondence on file rows, and creates properties for new columns. Data processing runs without PHP, supporting transformation chains (markups, rounding, price formatting for 9, units of measurement, currency conversion by exchange rate, dictionaries), safe expressions with functions, if-then rules with ready presets, and row filtering.
Product search is performed by article or composite key, ignoring case, spaces, and leading zeros. Search by similar name identifies uncertain matches requiring manual confirmation, while duplicate creation is prevented. The module remembers row-product pairs for reuse.
Catalog protection halts the import process upon detecting empty or truncated files, renamed columns, or mass product absence until the user makes a decision. Prices with sharp spikes or zero values are placed in quarantine. Actions regarding missing products affect only the products of the specific supplier.
The catalog import module supports Excel, XML, YML, and JSON formats. The system tracks which data was written to each field and does not overwrite changes made manually on the site. A checkbox labeled "Do not update this product from import" is available on the product card to block automatic updates.
A trial run is performed before saving data, displaying the difference between the current and new state, and exporting the change log to Excel. Pre-save checks allow selecting the update mode: all products, only new items, or all except prices and stock levels. Any run can be rolled back.
Supplier categories are mapped to site sections via a correspondence table. Products in new categories do not land in the catalog root.
Images are downloaded in multiple threads with a limit on requests to the supplier's site. Duplicate downloads are avoided, and a retry queue is used. Image loading from folders by SKU and from ZIP archives is supported.
The module provides a summary of all price lists and a price upload page for suppliers without access to the administrative panel. Webhooks for 1C and external scripts are supported. When multiple suppliers offer the same product, the system uses the lowest available price and sums the stock levels. Import scheduling and profile chains are configurable.
The system sends notifications via email and Telegram, displays an informer in the administrative panel, and warns if the price list has not changed for a long time. Changing a product URL automatically triggers 301 redirects. Built-in diagnostics check the server status and database indexes.
The catalog import module supports profiles for YML, CommerceML, Excel price lists, Google Sheets, CSV exports from other Bitrix sites, and integrations with Gifts.ru and Oasis. Features include loading prices, stock levels, images by SKU, creating profile versions with restoration capabilities, and transferring profiles between sites via file.
Artificial intelligence usage is optional. When connected to the free AI Content Generator for Products and Info Blocks module using your own keys, the system offers one-click column mapping, parsing of malformed price lists, rule configuration via natural language, automatic section selection, matching among similar products, importing price lists from PDFs, and generating descriptions for new items. The core import functionality operates fully without this add-on.
Access rights are managed by user groups for task execution, profile configuration, data verification, and rollback operations. Events are available for further customization.
Important prerequisites: no external paid services are required as the module runs entirely on your site. Costs may apply only to requests to language models when using AI features; these requests are routed through the AI Content Generator module to your chosen provider according to their tariffs.
Data transfer to third parties occurs strictly in accordance with your settings. The module downloads price lists and images from sources you specify (website, FTP, email, supplier API) using your credentials. Notifications are sent to your email address and your Telegram chat. When using artificial intelligence, only column names, sample price list rows, the list of catalog fields, and the names of categories and products for matching are sent to the selected language model provider. No data is sent to the module developer's servers, and visitor personal data is not collected.
Hosting requirements: PHP 8.2 or newer with extensions mbstring, curl, zip, xmlreader, dom (intl recommended); main module version 20.0 or newer; site must use UTF-8 encoding; module "Information Blocks"; for prices, stock levels, and offers, the module "Trade Catalog" is required. For scheduled imports, cron agents are needed. For PDF price lists, the server must have the pdftotext utility installed, along with the "AI Content Generator" module.
The module modifies the catalog: it creates and updates products, categories, properties, and images. According to your settings, it can deactivate or delete products that are missing from the price list. A test run is recommended before the first import.
The module source code is open and contains no obfuscated parts.
General iT can connect “Catalog import from Excel, XML, YML, JSON”, install and configure the module, and make sure the integration works correctly.
