What this solution does
AI Content Generator module for products and information blocks. This tool enables the creation of descriptions, SEO data, H1 headings, alt texts, and translations for an entire catalog within hours rather than months. The module populates content for products, sections, news items, articles, and any information blocks using language models. It operates on your own API keys: you independently select the provider and pay directly without markups or mandatory subscriptions.
The module supports generation from a product card or section via an "✨ AI" button, featuring result preview, an "Another option" feature, and direct application to the form. Separate "✨" buttons are available for description and SEO fields. Batch generation from a list is supported, allowing selection of marked products and sections or processing all records based on the current filter. Mass generation across information blocks and sections runs in a background queue, capable of handling thousands of items with progress tracking, an activity log, and cancellation capability.
Supported fields include detailed and short descriptions, SEO title, SEO description, keywords, H1 heading, and image alt texts. For sections, the module handles descriptions, SEO settings, and H1 headings. It also populates string properties of information blocks and extracts characteristics from descriptions into separate properties. Available modes include generation from scratch, rewriting in your own words, and translation. Data can be written only to empty fields, with options for full overwriting or appending.
Result verification: generated values can first be sent for moderation, applied with edits, or rejected, while already saved data can be rolled back to the previous state.
Support for translations into 15 languages, stored in separate product properties or section fields. Includes a terminology glossary and automatic translation for new products.
Automatic generation based on defined rules for new and modified products, including data received during exchange with 1C. Existing filled fields are not overwritten.
Ability to create custom prompts for each field using variables, conditional blocks, and field chains. Separate prompt sets are available for catalogs, news, and articles.
Quality control: filtering of stop words, verification of response language, and ensuring text uniqueness relative to neighboring products with the option to regenerate if necessary.
Analysis of product images using models that support image recognition, as well as internet search with source attribution (OpenRouter, Anthropic).
Report on catalog completeness with navigation to generate empty fields, a sandbox for testing prompts, and statistics on requests and costs.
Permission management for generation and verification by user groups, along with module events for further customization.
Integration with external providers
The module includes 21 ready-made presets and supports connection to your own server. Integration is available with providers such as Sber GigaChat, Yandex AI Studio (Alice AI LLM, Qwen), OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Mistral, Groq, Cerebras, OpenRouter, ProxyAPI.ru, VseGPT.ru, as well as with LiteLLM, vLLM, Ollama, and any API compatible with OpenAI. Multiple sources can be configured: if a provider is unavailable or the quota is exhausted, the module automatically switches to the next one. Once daily, the module verifies key validity, checks balance status, and confirms model availability, reporting any issues in the administrative panel informer.
Before installation, you must have an API key for at least one LLM provider. The module itself is free, but requests to the models are billed according to the selected provider's tariffs. Some providers offer free usage within specific limits (Groq, Cerebras, OpenRouter with free models, Google Gemini Flash), while others provide a free tier or a starting grant (Sber GigaChat, Yandex AI Studio).
The module sends data only to the AI provider you have selected. To generate content, it transmits the element name, section, properties, current field text, and, if the corresponding option is enabled, the main product image. Customer personal data and order information are not transmitted. No data is sent to the module developer's servers.
Hosting requirements: PHP 8.2 or newer with curl, mbstring, and json extensions installed; main module version 20.0 or newer; the site must operate in UTF-8 encoding; the Information Blocks module must be installed. For mass generation, cron agents are recommended. The server must have internet access to the API of the selected provider.
Limitations: Google Gemini does not process requests from Russian IP addresses; a proxy must be configured (set up separately for each provider) or a different provider must be selected. Product images are considered only by models that support image processing. If actual properties (such as material or dimensions) are missing from the source data, the model may infer them; such fields undergo validation before saving.
The module operates exclusively within the site's administrative section and does not modify public-facing templates. The module source code is open and contains no obfuscated parts.
When needed, General iT can implement “AI content generator for products and information blocks”, configure the module and verify it against the current website setup.
