Carrot quest
Carrot Quest is a platform for online business communication with users. It enables marketers to collect qualified leads, manage user interactions through a single service, and analyze campaign effectiveness. The platform optimizes customer support operations, allows monitoring of operator performance, accelerates responses to user inquiries, and helps increase customer loyalty.
The system automatically builds a lead database and enriches contact data by recording names, email addresses, phone numbers, and geolocation in lead cards. It tracks user actions on the website, including product views, purchases, adding items to the cart, and page visits. This consolidates user information in one place and visualizes their journey across the site.
Based on this data, marketers can configure personalized communications using automation tools. The lead bot offers products tailored to individual user interests, collects and qualifies leads for sales teams around the clock, and gathers customer feedback.
A communication platform for online businesses. The system automatically answers frequently asked questions and routes complex inquiries to an operator. Pop-up windows help capture leads, retain site visitors, and announce promotions. The online chat assists customers with payment and order completion. The service supports manual and triggered email campaigns to remind users about viewed items or abandoned carts, nurture leads and blog subscribers, re-engage inactive visitors, and inform about special offers.
Every lead from the site is stored in the CRM with a full history of their actions and communications. The chat is integrated with the CRM, allowing users to locate any client, initiate contact, and learn about their issues or requests. Messages from social networks and messengers are consolidated into a single interface.
The platform is easy to configure without a programmer. Data collection and automated scenarios for lead generation and user communication can be set up quickly. Scenario configuration, hypothesis testing, and analytics are available within the same service, enabling a single specialist to manage all these functions.
The platform allows flexible configuration of communication scenarios: triggering them based on user behavior, showing or hiding them on specific pages, and automatically disabling them when a promotion period expires.
Westfalika online store implemented trigger scenarios, resulting in an 18% increase in order volume and a 1744% return on investment for marketing automation within three months.
Mnogosna online store launched trigger pop-ups and emails, increasing order conversion by 18% and raising total order value by 5%, with service costs recouped at 400%.
AutoMir car dealership increased conversion for vehicle purchase and sales inquiries by 11%. In this industry, an 11% conversion lift typically increases revenue by an average of 26.4 million rubles.
Carrot quest is a platform providing high-tech and flexible tools for communicating with users of online businesses. The system enables rapid hypothesis testing and optimization of business processes. Integration with the platform demonstrates measurable growth in key metrics, including increased conversion to form submissions and collection of contact databases via feedback forms and email. The solution is suitable for companies aiming to systematically improve visitor interaction on their websites.
When needed, General iT can implement “Carrot quest - an online business communication platform for interacting with users”, configure the module and verify it against the current website setup.
UPDATE HISTORY
* Updated conditions for rendering the module script on pages
* Fixed potential error locations when transitioning to PHP 8.0
* Code refactoring
* Compatibility with PHP 8.0 verified
* Fixed several logical checks
* The "Excluded Pages" module setting now supports wildcard characters.
* The logic of the "On which sites to display the Carrot quest code" module setting has changed: if no site is selected, the module is completely disabled.
* Additional checks have been added to verify that viewed products and updated orders belong to the sites for which the module is enabled.
* Fixed conditions for rendering the dynamic block. Layout issues that occurred after the last update should now be resolved.
* The module script output has been moved to the page footer.
* User ID transmission has been moved to a dynamic zone. Issues with merging unrelated users should no longer occur.
* All data collection by the module is now implemented using new Bitrix core events (support for deprecated events is preserved). For core versions above 16, it is recommended to disable support for deprecated events in the module settings (this will affect only our module).
* When User ID transmission is enabled, information about order changes will be sent via it. Otherwise, as before, the system will attempt to find the corresponding Carrotquest UID for the user and send it via that ID. Fixed incorrect recording of client information when an order is created by an administrator.
* The "Track deprecated product view event" setting is now considered only if the corresponding "Enable processing of deprecated events" setting in the "Online Store" module is enabled. Otherwise, only new events are tracked.
* Requests from your server to our API no longer wait for a response (the module works faster and has less impact on your site's performance)
* Fixed a minor bug

* Fixed an error with adding the code outside the html tag
* Added a timeout for requests to Carrot quest. If the service does not respond within 3 seconds, the request will be stopped.
* A new field "Excluded Pages" has been added in the settings. Unfortunately, we cannot predict all possible website pages where our code should not be present. Therefore, we give you the ability to manually exclude the necessary pages. To do this, compile a list of pages where the Carrot quest code should not be displayed. Each page must be on a new line, without the domain. For example: for the page /example/page/ you will need to enter /example/page/
* We have taken into account the possibility of using a cloud storage for files, so now when collecting product information, we check the image address for the presence of a domain. So now there are no duplicate domains in the collected addresses.
Improving the conditions for adding code to pages.
Several paths to Bitrix system folders have been added to the exclusion list, which should eliminate detected conflicts between Bitrix components and our module.
Added support for product view events standard for the D7 core.
In the module settings, an option has been added to switch between the legacy event and the new one (the legacy event is enabled by default).
Requests to the Carrot quest service are now sent via HttpClient (the internal class of the D7 core). Now, in the settings, you can specify the IDs of multiple order properties storing phone numbers (for example, separate properties for individuals and legal entities). The check for the current address matching the cart address has been improved.
