What this solution does
BUSSOL DataBridge is a unified center for importing, exporting, and automating data for 1C-Bitrix. The module replaces manual Excel file processing, scattered scripts, and routine integrations with managed exchange profiles. It handles products and SKUs, prices and warehouses, sections and SEO, Highload blocks, discounts, sets, and bundles. Features include task scheduling, data transformations, remote source integration, result delivery, Dry Run mode, and rollback capabilities. The system supports XLSX, XLSM, XLS, CSV, and Google Sheets formats, as well as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS protocols, and email retrieval via IMAP.
If a catalog is regularly updated from Excel files, supplier price lists, FTP, email, or Google Sheets, manual operations, scattered scripts, and launch instructions inevitably accumulate over time. BUSSOL DataBridge unifies this entire process into a single module. One profile describes the full chain: source, transformations, object search, creation or update, verification, schedule, and result delivery. Instead of separate solutions for import, export, FTP, email, Google Sheets, and automation, you get a single managed process within 1C-Bitrix.
You can automate daily supplier catalog updates, synchronization of prices and warehouse stock, import of goods with SKU trade offers, mass catalog editing via Excel, exchange with Google Sheets, receiving price lists via HTTP, FTP, or email, generating partner and B2B price lists, automatic export delivery via FTP, HTTP, email, or to Google, data migration between projects, work with sections, SEO, and Highload blocks, import of discounts, sets, and kits, and regular scheduled exchanges. The system provides full control over goods, SKU identifiers, prices, and warehouse stock.
The DataBridge module by BUSSOL synchronizes catalogs by processing not only standard InfoBlock fields. A single process handles importing and exporting: standard element fields, InfoBlock properties (including multiple and list types), files and images, sections and their section links, prices and currencies, purchase prices, item quantities, stock balances per warehouse, weight and dimensions, and trade offers (SKU).
PRODUCT AND SKU IN ONE PROFILE
Trade offers are created and updated directly from product file rows. For SKU, the system supports dedicated search keys, fields XML_ID, CODE, NAME, ACTIVE, SORT and others, properties, prices and currencies, warehouse balances, trade catalog parameters, and links to parent products. DataBridge additionally protects the catalog from hidden re-linking of an existing SKU to another product.
COMPOSITE KEYS
Synchronization based solely on ID or article number is not always reliable. DataBridge supports composite keys, such as ARTICLE + SUPPLIER or BRAND + MODEL + COLOR. This is particularly convenient when working with multiple suppliers and external sources where a single identifier does not guarantee uniqueness.
FLEXIBLE IMPORT STRATEGIES
For found and unfound catalog objects, you can independently define action scenarios: update, create, skip, or flag as an error. If an object is missing from the input file, you can choose to leave it unchanged, deactivate it, or delete it. When duplicates exist within the upload file, a custom processing strategy can be configured.
Built-in protection prevents mass processing of missing items if the import fails or the file contains no data.
Dry Run: Verify Import Before Writing
Mass imports should not be treated as experiments on a live catalog. Before applying changes, run the Dry Run mode. DataBridge will read the file, validate keys, apply transformations, execute search logic, generate statistics, and display errors in the log without modifying any site data. This allows you to preview the results before initiating the actual data exchange.
Import Rollback
Even a well-configured automated exchange requires a recovery plan. With the rollback log enabled, DataBridge records reverse actions before modifying any data. Once the task is complete, you can execute a separate "Rollback Import" operation. The rollback function applies to all changes made by the DataBridge module for:
The BUSSOL DataBridge module provides import and export capabilities for 1C-Bitrix catalog data. Supported data types include elements and properties, products and SKUs, prices, stock balances, sections, SEO parameters, Highload records, custom properties and UF fields, list values, discounts, as well as sets and bundles. The Rollback feature offers an additional safety layer for operations but does not replace database backup procedures.
A dedicated profile type is available for managing catalog structure. This profile supports importing and exporting section fields, UF fields, images, parent structures, hierarchical paths, and meta tags including TITLE, DESCRIPTION, KEYWORDS, and H1. It also handles SEO templates for IProperty fields. During product import, the module processes SECTION_PATHS and automatically creates missing section hierarchies when required.
Highload blocks are managed through separate import and export profiles. Supported data types include string and numeric UF fields, boolean, date/datetime, enumeration, files, multiple values, and composite keys. The module includes a Dry Run mode for testing operations and handles missing records.
DataBridge integrates with the native discount mechanism of 1C-Bitrix. Users can import and export ID and XML_ID values, names, activity status, site association, sorting and priority parameters, and validity dates for discounts.
The module supports configuring user groups, applying percentage or fixed discounts, selecting currency, and restricting products. It includes capabilities for creating, updating, and reverting changes.
Standard sets and kits within the trade catalog are managed via the CCatalogProductSet class. Data exchange covers the owner, composition, quantity, sorting order, type (SET or GROUP), and SET_ID.
DataBridge supports the primary formats used for catalog exchange: XLSX, XLSM, XLS, CSV, and Google Sheets.
Import options allow loading a single sheet, multiple selected sheets, sheet ranges, or all sheets in a workbook. The header row is defined separately for each selected sheet.
Export results can be generated on a single sheet, automatically split by a specified row count, or created as separate sheets for each value in a selected column. For example, one workbook can contain individual sheets for different brands, warehouses, regions, or categories.
To generate ready-to-use documents for partners, you can upload a pre-prepared template in XLSX or XLSM format.
DataBridge preserves the workbook structure and styles, populates data, and transfers formulas from template rows to new rows. Relative formula references are automatically adjusted, while absolute references with the dollar sign ($) are preserved. When using an XLSM template, the VBA portion of the file is also retained.
Transformations without programming
Supplier files rarely match the site structure exactly. DataBridge allows values to be processed through transformation chains before import and after export. Available operations include: trim, upper/lower, HTML removal, space normalization, replace, map, template, coalesce, default, string operations, numeric calculations, rounding, date formatting, translit, slug, and split/join.
The template and coalesce functions can use values from other columns in the current row. For example, a product name can be automatically assembled from multiple fields using a pattern such as: {BRAND} {MODEL} — {value}. All transformations are executed without eval or arbitrary PHP code.
Creating properties and UF fields from files
During migrations or when connecting new suppliers, the structure of input data often changes. DataBridge can create properties and UF (user-defined) fields based on explicitly marked headers. For instance, a header labeled PROPERTY:BRAND creates a property named BRAND, while SKU:PROPERTY:SIZE creates a property named SIZE for the SKU.
UF_VENDOR
Users can define the type, name, multiplicity, sort order, and initial values for lists. Random unknown columns do not automatically create any elements; schema changes occur only based on explicit declaration.
Data Sources
Import can be initiated from the following sources:
• manually uploaded files;
• HTTP protocol;
• HTTPS protocol;
• FTP protocol;
• FTPS protocol;
• email attachments via IMAP protocol;
• Google Sheets.
Email Configuration
Settings can be configured for:
• target folder;
• sender;
• subject line fragment;
• "unread only" mode;
• maximum attachment size.
Typical workflow:
Supplier sends PRICE.XLSX → DataBridge locates the email → retrieves the attachment → updates the catalog.
Google Sheets
A Google Sheet can serve as a full data source. It is processed by the same DataBridge mechanism, supporting multiple sheets, column mapping, data transformations, and entities such as products and SKU.
Export Destinations
After export, files can be automatically delivered to:
• FTP servers;
• FTPS servers;
• via HTTP POST or PUT requests;
• Google Drive;
• Google Sheets;
• email.
Multiple destinations can be configured simultaneously. Google Sheets can be created anew or updated using a persistent Spreadsheet ID.
Scheduled Automation
Exchange profiles can be configured to run at specified intervals, daily at a specific time, or only on selected days of the week. This enables automated import and export processes without constant administrator intervention. A typical scenario involves fetching a supplier price list, updating product cards, SKUs, prices, and stock levels, generating a B2B price list, sending it to partners, and saving a copy to cloud storage. For production environments, it is recommended to migrate 1C-Bitrix agents to the cron scheduler.
Safe operation with external resources
Automation must not turn the server into an uncontrolled URL downloader. For HTTP and HTTPS sources as well as external images, DataBridge performs strict checks: URL scheme validation, DNS and IP verification, and blocking of localhost, private, reserved, and link-local addresses. Checks are repeated after redirects, HTTPS to HTTP downgrades are prohibited, and response size limits are enforced. For images, the actual MIME type and geometry are additionally verified. Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP; SVG images from external sources are not accepted. For projects with enhanced security requirements, an allowlist of permitted domains can be configured.
Task queue, progress, and logs
Long-running operations do not depend on a single browser request as DataBridge executes them via a job queue. The administrative panel displays the task status, current progress, the number of created and updated objects, the count of skipped records, a line-by-line error log, the result file, execution history, and the ability to trigger a rollback. Group permissions for read, write, and delete are supported, along with additional permissions for potentially risky external sources.
Typical use cases:
Automatic supplier price list update. The supplier sends a file daily via email or uploads it to an FTP server. DataBridge automatically retrieves the file, transforms the data, locates products by a composite key, and updates product information, SKUs, prices, and stock levels.
B2B price lists for partners. Data from the Bitrix catalog is exported to an XLSX or XLSM template, formatted with branding and formulas, and automatically sent to partners via email or FTP. A backup copy is created in Google Drive.
Mass catalog editing. Required fields are exported to Excel, data is edited using familiar tools, a dry run is performed, and changes are uploaded back to the system.
Data migration.
The BUSSOL DataBridge module provides data import and export capabilities, as well as catalog automation for 1C-Bitrix. The data processing workflow includes creating properties and user fields, managing sections, SEO settings, products and SKUs, and integrating with Highload blocks. A Dry Run is performed before data is written to verify correctness.
The integration gateway scenario supports data transfer via HTTP, FTP, Google Sheets, or email to the DataBridge module, processing within the 1C-Bitrix system, and subsequent export back to the specified channels.
The module combines import and export functions in a single solution. Products and their SKUs are processed in a unified workflow, while warehouse stock levels are handled separately. The system supports work with sections, SEO data, and Highload blocks. Discounts can be configured, and sets and bundles can be created. The system operates with XLSX, XLSM, XLS, CSV, and Google Sheets formats, enabling multi-sheet data exchange. HTTP, FTP, and email are supported as data sources.
Features include automatic delivery of export results, task scheduling, and data transformation without the need for custom PHP code. Properties and user fields are created based on declarations. A Dry Run is performed before writing data, and a logged rollback is applied in case of errors. The process includes a task queue, progress tracking, and a detailed event log. Additional security checks are implemented for external resources.
