Site New Year decoration: snow, garlands, toys

What this solution does

Site holiday decoration in a few minutes without editing templates or code.

Choose one of eight ready-made themes, preview how it looks on your site (visible only to you), and activate it. The decoration automatically appears on December 1 and disappears on January 15, repeating annually according to schedule.

Seven holiday effects are available.

Falling snow ranges from light snow to blizzard with gusts. Options include classic snowflakes, fine snow, or soft flakes. A subtle shadow ensures snow visibility even on a white background.

The holiday garland offers seven variants: classic, warm lights, minimalist, pine, with baubles, with soft glow, and static. Modes include flickering and running lights.

Baubles and toys include 14 built-in decorations: baubles, star, bell, bow, pinecone, gift, and others. You can upload your own images. Decorations are placed in screen corners or next to any page element.

The holiday frame is available in styles: pine branches, snow, gold ornament, or minimalist decor. Each side of the frame can be enabled separately.

Snow on elements allows adding snowdrifts and icicles to the header, menu, and product cards without changing the site's own styles.

Particles and sparkles create an effect of twinkling stars and sparks along the screen edges.

New Year character: a snowman, Father Frost, or a bullfinch walks along the screen edge or peeks from a corner.

Effects operate independently and can be freely combined.

Easy configuration

A builder with live preview for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Changes appear instantly and do not go live on the site until saved.

Personal preview on your site, visible only to you.

Custom presets: save design variants and switch between them with a single click.

Schedule with time zone support and annual recurrence. No cron configuration is required.

Display scope: the entire site, only the homepage, or selected sections. Specific pages and domains can be excluded. Each effect has its own rules for pages and devices.

Separate settings for each site in a multisite installation.

"Admins only" mode allows preparation of the design in advance.

Diagnostics page: the module automatically indicates why an effect is not visible.

Non-intrusive to the site and visitors

All decorations pass through clicks: buttons, menus, shopping carts, and forms function normally.

No horizontal scrolling is created, and the layout is not shifted.

No external CDN or jQuery dependencies. Only enabled effects are loaded.

Animation automatically pauses in inactive tabs to reduce load on low-performance devices, and an energy-saving mode is available. The module respects the system setting to reduce motion and provides a button for visitors to hide decorations. Sound plays only when explicitly enabled by the visitor; no automatic audio is triggered. The module does not collect visitor data or transmit information to external servers. Site templates and files remain unchanged, and the site returns to its original state after the module is removed. The system requires PHP 8.2 or newer. The solution has been tested on 1C-Bitrix: Site Management version 26.800 with PHP 8.5.
