What this solution does
A fully functional demo version is available for a period of 30 days.
The 'Product Change Log' module is designed to track detailed changes in information block elements, product parameters, prices, and warehouse stock levels. Optimized for production environments, the module saves database space by recording only values that differ from the previous state. All data is recorded as new upon the initial creation of an element. If data remains unchanged during synchronization with 1C, no log entry is created.
This module is recommended for scenarios involving manual product editing or data import. It monitors the creation, modification, and deletion of the following attributes:
- Name;
- Short and full descriptions;
- Symbolic code;
- Activity status;
- Available quantity and reserved quantity;
- Prices and VAT rates;
- Purchase price;
- Warehouse stock levels;
- Detailed images and announcement images;
- Element sections.
The module records who made changes to products and when, while also logging the sequence of function calls. This enables developers to identify exactly which code triggered a product modification. Users can quickly navigate from a product card to its change history. Only actual changes to product parameters are recorded. The module allows monitoring of the retention period and storage size for these logs.
The module is compatible with any information blocks. It is particularly useful for analyzing reasons behind stock quantity changes: it helps determine quantities set by 1C synchronization, adjustments made by users, and the timing of reservation activation and cancellation.
The module operates exclusively within the administrative panel and does not affect the performance or functionality of adaptive or composite websites.
General iT can install and configure this module and check how it works on your website.
