This approach is superior to regenerating the sitemap every time an element changes, particularly accelerating data exchange with 1C in large catalogs. For the module to function correctly, agents must be migrated to cron execution.

The module provides automatic generation of XML sitemap files on a schedule via cron. This approach is superior to regenerating the sitemap every time an element changes, particularly accelerating data exchange with 1C in large catalogs.
For the module to function correctly, agents must be migrated to cron execution. This can be achieved using the 'Agents on Cron' module or manually following the Bitrix instructions by moving at least non-periodic agents to cron.
The sitemap is generated using the search module functionality. Detailed information on this mechanism is available in the 1C-Bitrix training course 'Administrator-Basic' under the section 'Search - Google sitemap'.
Starting with version 2.0.0, the module supports direct cron execution for sitemap generation without agents. This feature is intended for exceptionally large sites where sitemap construction takes longer than 10 minutes.
General iT can connect “Sitemap.xml - automatic sitemap generation via cron. Bitrix acceleration”, install and configure the module, and make sure the integration works correctly.
