The Comment Counter module automatically recalculates the number of forum comments associated with infoblock elements and saves this value to the element. The system can clear the infoblock cache if necessary. The counter updates when a comment is added, modified, or deleted.

The Comment Counter module automatically recalculates the number of forum comments associated with infoblock elements and saves this value to the element. The system can clear the infoblock cache if necessary.
The counter updates when a comment is added, modified, or deleted. The solution is compatible with complex News and Catalog components that include a Reviews section and requires no template editing. It resolves issues where the counter fails to update when using the Reviews component.
The module works not only with the Reviews component but also when discussions take place on a separate forum. Module version: 2.0.
The Comment Counter module by Askaron Systems is designed for tracking comments. Previously a paid solution, it is now available free of charge. Materials from the developer community are available for reviewing the functionality and transitioning to the Product Reviews module.

2. You can now configure whether to clear the cache in the information block or not.
