What this solution does
Purpose of the solution
The module eliminates data gaps between the online store catalog and the CRM catalog in Bitrix24. In the standard delivery, these catalogs function in isolation: changes to prices, stock levels, or descriptions in one are not reflected in the other. This leads to situations where a manager in the CRM sees an outdated price while a customer on the website sees an accurate one (or vice versa).
Problems solved
1. Price and stock desynchronization. Managers no longer sell at outdated prices or promise items that are physically out of stock.
2. Duplicate work for content managers. The need to manually duplicate changes to descriptions, specifications, and images across two catalogs is eliminated.
3. Import errors from 1C. When primary accounting is maintained in 1C, data is correctly transferred to both the store and the CRM catalog where deals and invoices are created.
4. Loss of variability. Standard imports often lose trade offers (colors, sizes, configurations), leaving only a basic product template in the CRM. The module preserves all variants.
Target audience
Companies conducting sales simultaneously through a website and via a sales department using CRM.
This solution is designed for businesses using 1C for accounting, where the online store catalog is updated from the accounting system while the CRM is used by managers for client interaction. It is also suitable for e-commerce sites selling variable products (clothing, footwear, components) where maintaining the 'product + offers' structure in both catalogs is essential.
Option 1. Sync 'Product with Offers' to 'Product with Offers'
Provides full mirroring of the catalog structure. The source product along with all its trade offers (SKUs) is copied to the target catalog, preserving:
- section hierarchy;
- the complete set of properties (color, size, article number);
- prices for each individual offer;
- current stock levels;
- images and descriptions.
Use this option when the CRM requires full functionality for handling variations: managers must be able to see available choices (e.g., red or blue t-shirts) and understand stock levels for each variant.
Option 2. Sync 'Product with Offers' to 'Simple Product'
Implements a simplified synchronization scheme. All trade offers are collapsed into a single simple product in the target catalog. In this scenario:
- the price is taken from the base product or selected as the minimum/maximum among offers (configurable);
- stock quantities are summed across all offers.
The module aggregates product properties: for example, multiple color variants are combined into a single value like 'Multicolor' or into a comma-separated list. This approach is suitable for scenarios where the CRM is used solely for initial order processing, while detailed selection of variations occurs later on the website or during personal contact. This accelerates manager workflows and simplifies the catalog structure within the system.
The following data is synchronized:
- name, description, and detailed description;
- product activity status (if all offers are inactive, the product is deactivated);
- basic attributes (brand, article number, barcode);
- prices by price type;
- stock levels and reservations;
- images (main and additional).
Synchronization is triggered by an event (product change in the source) or by a scheduled agent. The module matches products by XML_ID or article number, identifies the source type (14 for products, 15 for offers), and creates or updates the corresponding entity in the target catalog according to the selected option.
When needed, General iT can implement “Synchronize catalogs”, configure the solution and continue developing the project after launch.
