What this solution does
The Social Media and Messenger Widget module is designed for sites running on the 1C-Bitrix: Site Management platform. It allows placing multiple contact buttons for messengers and social networks on a page without modifying the template code. Supported services include Telegram, MAX, WhatsApp, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, and TikTok.
The module provides a single widget per page without external scripts, messenger APIs, or third-party trackers. In a multisite installation, separate settings are available for each site. Administrators can enable or disable the widget and individual channels, as well as change their display order.
Full visual customization is available, including position, theme, style, color, button and icon size, margins, caption text, icon selection, and animation. A live preview is implemented in the administrative panel. Settings can be exported and imported between sites using a JSON file.
The widget does not collect visitor data or transmit it to third-party servers. After installation, the module is disabled by default: nothing is displayed on the site until the administrator adds channels, activates the widget, and saves the configuration.
System requirements: current version of 1C-Bitrix: Site Management, PHP environment version 8.2 or newer, and UTF-8 encoding. No additional paid services or external modules are required.
Functional limitations: integration with MAX, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, and TikTok is possible only via ready-made official links. Automatic generation of a Viber link by phone number is designed for use with a registered business account. The ability to open a direct chat depends on the link type and the rules of the specific service.
