This solution offloads computationally intensive compression tasks to a remote cloud SaaS server, eliminating strain on the local server's CPU and disk.
The module operates automatically, optimizing images at the moment of upload, as well as scanning and processing files within catalogs, information blocks, and content areas. Conversion to the WebP format reduces file size by 80–90% without perceptible loss of visual quality. Operation requires module installation and entry of an API key in the settings. The result is faster page loading and improved metrics in speed analysis tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights and Yandex.

Canonical links (canonical)
