MODULE FOR 1C-BITRIX
HELLO WORLD
The GEO Engine Agent module transforms a 1C-Bitrix site into a managed GEO Engine platform (geoengine.pro). It does not generate content independently but executes platform tasks via the native Bitrix API, ranging from SEO metadata configuration to publishing AI-generated product descriptions, reviews, and media. How it works The module is installed on the site as a standard Bitrix solution.
How it works
The module is installed on the site as a standard Bitrix solution.
After installation, the module registers with GEO Engine and receives a unique agent token.
Tasks are delivered through two channels:
- Push: GEO Engine instantly sends a task to the module webhook. The server returns HTTP 202, execution begins immediately, and the response does not require waiting.
- Poll: Every 5 minutes (configurable interval), the module independently queries GEO Engine. This serves as a backup channel if the site is unavailable for Push.
Tasks are executed via native Bitrix methods (CIBlockElement, CIBlockSection, CFile, CIBlockProperty, etc.) without modifying the core system.
Execution results are sent back; on the platform side, statuses are displayed in the review interface.
Module capabilities
SEO and AI visibility (GEO):
- Meta tags for elements and sections: title, description, keywords, canonical, H1.
- SEO templates for information blocks (IPROPERTY_TEMPLATES) for bulk catalog updates.
The GEO Engine Agent module automates SEO and GEO optimization using artificial intelligence. It allows runtime meta tag redefinition via the OnEpilog event, which is relevant for pages outside information blocks. The system generates JSON-LD structured data of types: Product, Article, Organization, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList. It supports the Open Graph and Twitter Cards protocols, managed through an SEO override storage mechanism.
The module creates llms.txt, llms-full.txt, and Markdown page versions (/page.md) for AI assistants and search models. Generation is configured by selecting information blocks, fields, properties, and section depth, and it automatically updates when the catalog changes. Built-in SEO auditing allows fixing the robots.txt file, disabling third-party SEO templates (native_seo_off), and configuring geo-targeting. If needed, all applied SEO changes can be rolled back using saved snapshots (seo_rollback).
In the catalog section, synchronization (sync_catalog) exports products and sections to the GEO Engine. Data transferred includes names, prices, specifications, descriptions, URLs, images (absolute URLs via the site domain), activity status, and section hierarchy. Publishing AI-generated content for product cards (update_product) covers descriptions, short descriptions, meta title/description, specifications, FAQ blocks, and alt text for images. This function operates strictly after mandatory manual review in the admin panel. The module also includes functions for updating categories (update_category) and informational pages (update_information).
The GEO Engine Agent module provides SEO and GEO automation with a rollback mechanism: a snapshot of the previous state is preserved before each write operation, allowing the action to be reverted with a single task.
The update_price function updates prices and replaces price occurrences in product card text via replacePriceInText.
Review management includes publishing AI-generated reviews to a selected information block using add_product_review and remove_product_review. Reviews are linked to products via an element reference property, with search performed by code and type. Automatic property mapping is implemented for rating, author, pros, and cons based on property code or name, while list properties are populated via enum.
For AI media handling in the update_product method, the photo_url field uploads a generated image: if no main image exists, it becomes DETAIL_PICTURE; otherwise, it is added to MORE_PHOTO. Video is uploaded to a separate property specified in settings as video_property_code, or automatically detected as a file-type property for video. Existing client media files are not overwritten.
Content marketing tools allow publishing articles and content plans to a selected information block with specified section, date, and structure using create_content, update_content, and publish_content_plan. The inject_faq and inject_content_block methods insert FAQ and content blocks into existing elements with automatic deduplication. The remove_dead_links function removes broken links.
The GEO Engine Agent module provides SEO and GEO marketing automation within the 1C-Bitrix environment. Module management includes automatic updates via a zip package from GEO Engine (over FTP or locally) without manual intervention, along with a command for complete uninstallation.
The scan_site_structure function generates a map of information blocks, sections, properties, and third-party SEO modules. A suite of tools including scout, seo_audit, fix_robots, fix_seo, and health_check performs audits and self-diagnosis of PHP, database, permissions, and LLMS files, generating reports in GEO Engine. The platform also offers service tasks: set_geotargeting, apply_preset, apply_command_action, register_campaign_publication, meta, text, option, and product.
Execution reliability is ensured by task serialization using file locking on /tmp/geoengine-task.lock via flock. This allows parallel webhook workers to queue up and prevents simultaneous writes to information blocks. MySQL errors 1213 and 1205, which occur during conflicts with 1C data exchange or manual edits, are handled with a retry mechanism featuring jitter. The system guarantees idempotency: the server does not create duplicate entries in the queue, and the module does not execute the same task twice. Webhook processing is atomic; a 202 response is returned immediately while execution is decoupled, ensuring that external call timeouts do not interrupt the task.
The module is compatible with all 1C-Bitrix editions that support the Information Blocks component: First Site, Start, Standard, Small Business, Business, and Enterprise.
