What this solution does
The Extended Menu module generates a navigation structure by combining sections and elements from various information block types into a single list. This approach eliminates the need to create separate template files for each section requiring menu items from information blocks.
To exclude information block types from the menu, deselect all item options. Selecting information block codes is mandatory. To exclude the information blocks themselves from the output, enable the 'Sections Only' option. To exclude sections, set the 'Number of nesting levels to display for sections' parameter to 0; this parameter also controls the depth of section nesting selection.
Link template configuration: for information block types, the 'Link template for information block type' parameter must be set. This parameter is also used to define the SEO-friendly URL (CHPU) directory relative to the site root. If parameters for sections and elements are not specified explicitly, the system will automatically use the settings of the corresponding information blocks.
Note that this component serves solely to generate a data array for the standard Bitrix menu component and operates using standard Bitrix menu templates.
