What this solution does

The Pics module for the 1C-Bitrix: Site Management platform enables website image updates using artificial intelligence. It connects the site to the Pics personal account, helping website owners, editors, and agencies find images, create new variants, and publish selected replacements.

To begin, install the module and connect the site to the Pics service using a key from the module settings. Run an audit: the system will automatically locate images in active information block elements, including teaser images, detailed images, and illustrations within text. Select the desired images and generate new variants based on the originals using AI. Compare the source file with the result and, if necessary, initiate a regeneration. Publication occurs only after your confirmation; until then, images on the site remain unchanged.

The functionality includes viewing found images and the pages where they are used. It supports generating individual files or entire groups with status display. A comparison between the original and the new variant is always available before publication. The module replaces local files while preserving their path and adds a version parameter to update the browser cache. It also allows transferring external images to the site with link replacement after obtaining specific user consent.

The Pics module enables AI-powered image replacement on websites. When images are updated, the alt attribute is preserved and recognized old source captions are removed. Original files are stored in a secure backup repository for 30 days.

The module itself is free, but requires a Pics account and an internet connection to function. Image generation is performed by the external Pics service, which processes the selected images. Upon registration, each account receives 5 trial pixels. One pixel equals one successfully generated image variant; regenerating an image also consumes one pixel. Publishing the selected variant on the site is included in the package cost.

Available packages are: 50 pixels for 1,490 rubles, 250 pixels for 6,490 rubles, and 500 pixels for 11,990 rubles. No subscription or automatic billing is required.

System requirements include administrator rights on the website, the Information Blocks module, PHP with the GD extension supporting the relevant formats, write permissions for the upload directory, and site accessibility via HTTPS for the Pics service.

The Pics module audit covers active InfoBlock fields: announcement images, detailed images, and img tags within the announcement and detailed text content. Images defined in templates, CSS, custom properties, or non-standard storage are not automatically included. Categories and the list of selected images must be verified manually before processing.

AI-generated results may contain inaccuracies. Product images, medical illustrations, and technical diagrams must be reviewed before publication. The service does not determine the copyright holder of source images and provides no guarantee against third-party copyright claims.
