Managing multiple information blocks often requires manually creating identical properties in each one, which is labor-intensive. For instance, adding three properties to ten catalogs involves thirty separate operations. Any subsequent changes to property parameters must also be applied individually to each information block.
Managing multiple information blocks often requires manually creating identical properties in each one, which is labor-intensive. For instance, adding three properties to ten catalogs involves thirty separate operations. Any subsequent changes to property parameters must also be applied individually to each information block.
The module addresses this by enabling the creation of property sets that can be bound to multiple information blocks simultaneously. A property is defined once, and the module automatically creates and updates it across all selected information blocks upon saving the set.
Key capabilities:
Creation of property sets with an arbitrary number of properties.
Support for all basic property types: string, number, list, file, element binding, and section binding.
Full configuration for each property: default values, mandatory status, multiplicity, inclusion in filtering and search, field size, tooltips, and binding to specific information blocks for element and section types.
Management of list (enum) values with XML_ID support.
Ability to bind a single set to any number of information blocks.
Automatic synchronization upon saving the set: properties are created, updated, or deleted in the information blocks without requiring additional actions.
When a property set or an individual property within a set is deleted, the corresponding properties are automatically removed from all associated information blocks. Deleting an information block from the system triggers the cleanup of all related links. Management is performed via a user-friendly interface in the administrative panel under the Content section. The module is compatible with both the legacy and the new Bitrix kernel (D7).
