What this solution does
The module is compatible with all editions of 1C-Bitrix, including online stores and showcase sites without a shopping cart. It adds a feature to scan barcodes using a smartphone camera for instant product search within the catalog. The visitor presses a button, points the camera at the code, and the module recognizes it to automatically open the corresponding product card.
The functionality provides fast product search by barcode without manual entry of the article number. It supports scanning of any linear and 2D codes (EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, QR Code, DataMatrix, ITF, Codabar, and others). Search is performed against barcodes stored in infoblock properties as well as warehouse barcodes of the 'Trade Catalog' module (catalog). If the camera is unavailable, manual code entry via keyboard is supported.
Configuration allows specifying multiple search sources: any infoblocks and their properties containing barcodes. The system supports warehouse barcodes from the 'Trade Catalog' module (b_catalog_store_barcode). The module operates correctly in multisite configurations, allowing individual search source settings for each site.
The component supports four launch modes: activation via button click, link click, binding to an arbitrary CSS selector, or automatic scanner opening upon page load. It features search result caching with configurable time-to-live (TTL) and limits the maximum number of returned items. The interface is adaptive for both mobile devices and desktops. Flashlight control is available on supported devices. A debug mode is included with logging to a file and the browser console. The interface is fully localized in Russian and English. Barcode recognition is performed client-side within the browser, ensuring data is not transmitted to third-party servers. No external system connections or payments are required. The solution supports multi-site deployment and search across multiple information blocks.
