The Smart Redirect module for 1C-Bitrix automatically resolves 404 errors to preserve SEO traffic and conversions. The system analyzes invalid URLs, identifies relevant pages, and performs a seamless redirect (301 or 302).

The module operates using two complementary modes. The first is instant SQL search, utilizing a built-in morphological analyzer to rapidly match against information blocks and folder structures. The second is neural network AI search: when standard methods fail (such as with heavily distorted URLs or language changes), the system engages an AI model (ChatGPT, Yandex GPT, GigaChat, or any local model) to semantically interpret the request and find the optimal replacement.

A key feature is full automation. Administrators do not need to manually configure redirect rules in server configuration files.

The module automatically redirects visitors and search engine bots from outdated, deleted, or malformed links to current pages, preventing traffic loss and advertising budget waste. This is particularly valuable after catalog restructuring when old URLs may still exist in advertising campaigns such as Yandex Direct.

The system integrates with any AI models, including OpenAI, Yandex GPT, and Sber GigaChat, and supports connection to free local models via Ollama or LM Studio. To optimize token usage, requests are processed in batches, analyzing 10 to 50 links simultaneously in a single query.

A built-in scanner operates in the background to verify the physical site structure, with timeout protection, and indexes all static sections. The admin panel features a detailed dashboard displaying statistics on recovered visits and saved budgets, along with a convenient tool for manual log management.

How it works:

1. When a user or bot attempts to access a broken link (e.g., /kak-kupit-telefon/), the module instantly intercepts the 404 error.

2. A tokenizer splits the URL into individual words and searches for semantic matches within the catalog, news, articles, and static folders.

3. Upon identifying a clear match, the system automatically performs a 301 redirect to the correct page.

In complex cases, the link is placed in a background queue. The neural network analyzes the site structure, makes a logical decision regarding the redirect, and permanently saves the result.

Performance and Security

Caching: All results, including those generated by AI, are stored in the database. Subsequent visits to the link are processed instantly in fractions of a millisecond.

Asynchronicity: Complex tasks are executed via Bitrix background agents (cron), ensuring no slowdown in page loading for users.

Structure Security: The file scanner operates in batches, excludes system directories, and will not cause server crashes.
