IndexNow: fast indexing

What this solution does

The IndexNow module for 1C-Bitrix: Site Management automatically notifies search engines about new, modified, or deleted pages. The system tracks content changes, generates a list of public URLs, and places them in a secure queue. A background agent transmits this data to Yandex and the IndexNow network, allowing robots to detect updates instantly without waiting for a scheduled full site crawl.

The module automatically processes add, edit, and delete events for infoblock elements. It supports products, catalog sections, news, articles, blog posts, and other public infoblocks. It tracks changes to prices, product parameters, and warehouse stock levels. The module works with both standard products and trade offers.

Technical features include direct URL submission to Yandex and the IndexNow network, automatic generation of the IndexNow key, and publication of the verification file in the website root directory. It supports multiple sites and domains with the ability to select search services separately for each resource. Manual URL addition to the queue, merging of duplicate changes for a single page, and automatic retry attempts during temporary errors are available. The system displays HTTP codes and submission results, while maintaining a history of interactions with search engines.

The IndexNow module provides fast notification of new or modified pages to search engines. Built-in diagnostics check the runtime environment, the background agent status, and the availability of key files. The system automatically excludes service and closed site sections from submission. Settings are available for the trailing slash and the site root path. Protection is implemented against sending URLs of other domains and service addresses of the Bitrix platform.

The module operates in the background. When a product, price, news item, or other public element is changed, the user does not need to manually submit the page. The URL is automatically added to the queue and sent to selected search services. For pages not related to information blocks, manual submission of a URL list is supported.

IndexNow sends information about page changes to the search engine but does not guarantee crawling, inclusion in the index, or specific positions in search results. The search engine makes the final decision on indexing.
