What this solution does
The Smart Filter SEO module automatically generates landing pages based on catalog filter parameter combinations. It creates distinct URLs for search queries such as 'Viscose dresses' or 'White Nike sneakers', providing unique clean URLs, meta tags, and text content without requiring template editing. The system dynamically manages indexing: pages are created when products matching specific criteria appear, hidden when the assortment is exhausted, and reopened upon restocking. Each generated page receives a unique address, title, description, H1 heading, breadcrumb navigation, and SEO text.
The module creates pages for every combination of Smart Filter property values containing products within selected catalog sections or the root. Supported property types include lists, strings, dictionaries, links to elements and sections, product offer characteristics, prices, and numeric ranges. Configuration options include setting the minimum number of products required for generation, limiting the total number of pages, selecting specific values, defining property display order, and setting condition priorities. A preview feature allows checking addresses, H1 headings, and titles before page creation. Additional filtering capabilities allow restricting output to in-stock items, new arrivals within a specified period, curated collections, or custom property-based filters.
The module generates SEO-friendly URLs without modifying site templates. It supports custom address templates, including those outside the catalog folder, automatic transliteration, and individual addresses for filter values. When accessing a smart filter page, a 301 redirect is applied to the target landing page, and filter links and the Show button direct users immediately to that page.
Meta tags are configured via templates for H1, title, description, keywords, breadcrumbs, and OG tags. Templates support variables such as values, prices, product counts with correct grammatical declension, brands, availability, discounts, ratings, and region (when integrated with Aspro and Sotbit modules). Features include grammatical case forms, conditional blocks, and multiple phrasing options. Template inheritance follows the hierarchy: site, information block, section, condition, and page.
Landing pages support SEO text placement above and below the product list, along with additional text blocks. The Questions and Answers section is automatically marked up with FAQPage schema.
The value dictionary stores SEO names, addresses, and grammatical case forms for each parameter. Form fields are auto-filled according to Russian language rules.
The landing page management list offers filtering, customizable columns, inline editing of H1 and title, and bulk actions. Data can be exported to and imported from CSV and Excel formats with validation before saving. Manual pages supporting multiple values for a single property are also supported.
A change history is maintained for each page, allowing rollback to previous versions. Manual edits and pinned addresses are preserved and not overwritten by automatic generation. Changing an address triggers a 301 redirect from the old URL.
The module provides internal linking via a tag cloud placed after the H1 heading, featuring grouping and a 'More' button. It includes blocks for similar pages, displays tags within product cards, and adds links to landing pages inside the smart filter. The solution comprises components for managing the tag cloud and the landing page map.
Indexing is supported through sitemap generation, the IndexNow protocol, human-readable URLs for pagination, and noindex and canonical rules for filter pages that lack a dedicated landing page. Site search functionality is also included.
Empty pages are blocked from indexing with temporary redirection to a category or a 404 response. The system automatically restores access to these pages once products become available again.
Quality control tools identify keyword cannibalization caused by pages with nearly identical product assortments, detect duplicate or excessively long meta tags, and allow verification of how search engines view the site's pages.
The module analyzes demand by tracking which filter combinations visitors open and what users search for internally. Landing pages can be generated from these reports with a single click.
Import of landing pages is supported from address lists in text, CSV, or Excel formats while preserving URL structures. This enables migration from other SEO modules without losing search rankings.
The integration wizard checks the catalog structure, faceted index, URL rules, agent functionality, and the site template. It provides configuration recommendations for standard stores as well as Aspro, Sotbit, INTEC, Deluxe, and other templates.
The module generates SEO elements including H1 tags, title, meta descriptions, landing page texts, and FAQ blocks based on page facts. This uses the free Content AI Generator for Products and Info Blocks module with your own API keys. AI text generation is optional.
The system supports user group-based access control for viewing, editing, generating, and configuring settings. It includes events and an API for custom development.
Before installation, note that the module requires no external paid services and operates entirely on your website. Costs may arise only from requests to language models if you enable AI text generation. In this case, requests are routed through the Content AI Generator for Products and Info Blocks module to your chosen provider according to their pricing plans.
Data sharing with third parties occurs only for functions you explicitly enable. This includes sending page URLs to IndexNow (Yandex and the IndexNow network, disabled by default), integration with Yandex Webmaster and Metrica (using your OAuth token, optional), and sending page facts to your selected LLM provider for text generation. Filter statistics are stored locally on your site without collecting IP addresses, cookies, or visitor data. No data is sent to the module developer's servers.
Hosting requirements: PHP 8.2 or newer with the mbstring extension; main module 20.0 or newer; site in UTF-8 encoding; Information Blocks module required, and Trade Catalog module for prices and availability. The catalog must be built on the bitrix:catalog complex component with a smart filter (SEF mode or GET parameters). A faceted index for the information block is recommended, along with cron execution for agents.
On the site, the module replaces meta tags and inserts text and tag clouds on catalog pages without modifying the template. If the template renders the title or canonical link in a non-standard way, the integration wizard will suggest the required setting or indicate the necessary marker. The solution is compatible with a composite site.
The module source code is open and contains no obfuscated parts.
If “SEO smart filter: landing pages, SEO-friendly URLs, meta tags” fits the task, General iT can install the module, configure it and verify the result in the project.
