What this solution does
The BUSSOL Region+ module (bussol.regions) provides multi-region functionality for 1C-Bitrix, enabling different conditions for each city on a single website. If your online store operates in multiple regions, the module displays relevant information to visitors: contacts, addresses, regional prices, warehouse data, products, and content specific to their city. This eliminates the need to maintain separate website copies for each location.
You can choose the deployment scheme: a single domain with city switching, or separate domains and subdomains for different regions. All settings are managed from the 1C-Bitrix administrative panel.
The business gains localized data for each visitor. Contacts, address, phone number, e-mail, and other information are automatically inserted for the selected region. Cities, their properties, and associations are stored in an information block; for multi-site projects, separate settings are provided for each site. The system supports flexible expansion: you can start with a few cities and extend the geography as the project grows.
The Bussol module provides multi-region functionality for sites built on the 1C-Bitrix platform. The system automatically determines the user's city via GeoIP, prompts for confirmation, and allows manual switching.
Region selection is available in three modes: a compact dropdown list, search by name, or three-level navigation "district → region → city".
The module supports regional domains and subdomains. The site operates on a single domain or switches between addresses of different regions while preserving context.
Contact information is stored for each branch. The site template displays current phone numbers, addresses, and other relevant data.
Catalog prices are linked to regions. A region can be associated with a specific price type, and additional price restrictions can be configured.
Warehouses and stock levels are also linked to regions. Availability of goods can be restricted based on the selected region if configured.
Products and sections can be geodependent. This enables catalog filtering using custom properties and filters.
SEO variables insert regional data into the HTML code. Markers such as #REGION_NAME#, #REGION_PHONE#, #REGION_ADDRESS#, and others are used. These fields are also available for email events.
The module supports multisite functionality and the Composite architecture. It provides regional context per site, a dynamic component frame, and AJAX-based region refinement.
The interface features a modern design. The city selection component is built with native JavaScript and does not depend on jQuery.
A regional directory is included in the package. The demonstration database contains 8 federal districts, 86 subjects, and 1,629 populated areas. Data is imported by a background agent and matched with locations existing on your 1C-Bitrix site. Administrators can adjust mappings as needed.
The module is particularly useful for:
Federal online stores: configuring different price types and warehouses for cities of presence.
Branch networks: displaying regional phone numbers, addresses, working hours, and contact blocks.
Catalogs with territorial restrictions: isolating specific product groups or sections for selected regions.
Regional landing pages: automatically inserting city names and contact details into site text and SEO elements.
Getting started
Install the module and navigate to Bussol → Multiregionality → Settings.
Select the site, verify the regional information block, and wait for the directory to load.
Set the default region, configure contacts, and if needed, define domains, price types, and warehouses.
Place the bussol:regions.selector component in the site template and select the appropriate switcher style.
Before enabling restrictions on the live site, verify city selection, regional data accuracy, catalog display, and the checkout process.
Implementation requirements and features
Platform: 1C-Bitrix: Site Management, Small Business and Business editions.
PHP: version 8.2 or newer, provided the Bitrix edition supports this version.
Modules: main, iblock, sale; the catalog module is required for working with price types and warehouses.
Important: restricting prices, warehouses, and filtering the catalog require specific configuration and testing on the target online store; global restrictions are disabled by default.
Subdomain mode: requires prior configuration of DNS, the web server, and the HTTPS protocol.
GeoIP: the accuracy of city detection depends on the configured data provider and network infrastructure.
