What this solution does
The BotHunt module connects the bot protection service to 1C-Bitrix websites. It automatically filters malicious traffic, including scrapers, spam bots, price scrapers, behavioral metric manipulators, and botnets.
The agent analyzes every request before the page loads. Real users pass an invisible JavaScript challenge and gain immediate access. Bots unable to execute JavaScript or requests from IPs/ASNs with poor reputations are blocked or redirected to a verification page.
The module protects against:
- Catalog and price scraping by competitors
- Spam via contact forms
- Manipulation of behavioral metrics (Yandex.Metrica, Google Analytics)
- Credential stuffing attacks
- Server load attacks
Installation takes approximately two minutes. Once installed, the module automatically registers the site with the BotHunt service and starts filtering without manual configuration. Protection status and the site key are visible in the module settings within the Bitrix admin panel. Statistics and filtering rules are available in the service's personal account, accessible via a single button from the module settings.
The BotHunt module provides protection against bots and click fraud by utilizing the external paid service bothunt.ru. The first 14 days of operation are available in a trial mode. For full protection after this period, an active subscription according to the service tariffs is required. Without an active subscription, the system switches to monitoring mode.
