- Selection of the source language and the list of available translation languages in settings.
- Built-in reference containing 198 language codes and variants supported by Google.
- Local catalog with 255 country and territory flags in SVG format, plus a neutral icon for supranational languages (256 SVG files total).
- Language switcher with the ability to use a custom template for flag display.
- Saving the selected language in a cookie named googtrans.
- Correct return to the source language with cleanup of duplicate host and domain cookies.
- External script loading only on pages containing the component, or optionally automatic loading across the entire public part of the site.
- Option to hide the Google top panel.
- Support for multi-site configuration without writing files to public site directories.
