The module processes trace files generated by the Xdebug extension. Its functionality is divided into two modes: code debugging and profiling. In debugging mode, users can step through the script's source code: into functions, at the same nesting level, or up the call stack. Features include searching by file, line, function, parameter, and value, as well as displaying the current call stack.

In debugging mode, users can step through the script's source code: into functions, at the same nesting level, or up the call stack. Features include searching by file, line, function, parameter, and value, as well as displaying the current call stack.
In profiling mode, the execution time of each function is analyzed to identify the longest-running or most frequently called code segments. Functionally similar to kcachegrind, the tool operates directly on trace files without requiring them to be uploaded to a local computer.
