The module displays a cookie policy notification on the website to ensure compliance with data protection laws. This is required if the site uses Yandex.Metrica, Google Analytics, advertising pixels (Facebook, TikTok, Google Ads), or social media widgets, as these tools transmit third-party cookies. In such cases, visitor consent for data collection is mandatory.
Module settings allow:
- Enabling or disabling the component
- Selecting the color of active elements
- Defining the notification position on the page
- Specifying links to the privacy policy and consent form
The functionality includes the automatic removal of Yandex.Metrica, Google Analytics, captcha, and map scripts until user consent is obtained. A field is provided for inserting third-party service scripts, which remain unloaded until cookie consent is confirmed.
The technical implementation ensures the automatic removal of all iframes, maps, and cookie files, except for those essential for the basic operation of the site.
