What this solution does
The 'Bonus System. Loyalty Programs' module is designed for implementing loyalty programs in online stores on the 1C-Bitrix platform.
The module includes pre-installed profiles for key scenarios:
- bonus accrual upon purchase completion;
- payment of orders using accumulated bonuses;
- rewards for new users upon registration;
- annual bonus accrual on the user's birthday;
- bonus accrual for submitted reviews (compatible with review modules from the 1C-Bitrix Marketplace).
Loyalty profiles can be configured based on segmentation conditions:
- by user: group, type (individual or legal entity);
- by order: amount (from/to), first or repeat order, total sum of all orders for a period or lifetime, payment method, delivery service;
- by product: minimum product price, exclusion of items with an existing discount, separate logic for promotional items with reduced bonus amounts.
The bonus system and loyalty program module provides flexible configuration of point accrual with filtering by product or offer fields and properties, including main product fields for SKU.
Accrual is triggered upon full payment of an order or when the order transitions to one or several selected statuses. When triggered by status changes, accrual occurs only once when the order first enters any of the specified statuses.
Bonus size can be defined in several ways: as a fixed number or percentage of the order total or product price; individually via a product or offer property (string or list); or based on a threshold rule such as 'bonus per X rubles' (e.g., 5 points per 500 rubles). The system supports configuring the exchange rate (e.g., 1 bonus equals 1 ruble), the number of decimal places for precision, and one of four rounding types, including rounding up to the nearest whole number.
Bonus lifecycle management includes setting the validity period and allowing a delay in activation for a specified number of days or weeks after payment. The system implements automatic expiration of only the unused portion of the bonus. It also sends notifications about impending expiration one day, one week, or one month before the bonus expires.
The referral system supports three acquisition mechanisms: referral links, referral sites, and promo codes. Promo codes are generated automatically, and their owner is prevented from using them for their own purchase (as of version 3.3.23). This approach implements a word-of-mouth marketing model.
The module ensures automatic display of bonus program elements in the shopping cart, product cards, checkout stages, and the personal account. A dedicated "Bonus Account" payment mechanism is provided for accurate tracking of bonus payments. An optional mode is available to exclude bonus payments from the final order total; in this mode, bonuses are recorded as a discount on goods, preventing double charges and simplifying receipt generation for external payment systems.
The system supports multi-site deployment, allowing separate profiles and settings to be configured for each site. The personal account includes widgets for displaying the current bonus balance and the full transaction history (component `acrit.bonus:bonus.account.full`). Starting from version 3.8.250, an arbitrary link to the bonus program description page can be displayed during the checkout process.
Email notifications are configured individually for each profile. The system supports sending test emails and automatically notifies users about bonus accruals, program registration, and upcoming bonus expiration.
1.9. API and developer tools
The system provides a public REST API version 3.9.200. Available methods include retrieving all user transactions, order-specific bonus details, and balance information with currency specification. Custom integrations are supported via events and hooks, such as OnBeforeBonusAdd. The solution is compatible with non-standard checkout components.
1.10. Logging and debugging
Logging points were expanded in versions 3.7.400 and 3.7.150. Starting from version 3.7.100, order records store service properties detailing the bonus system's operation: applied profiles, filtered products, and active bonuses at the time of order placement. This ensures accurate recalculation even if product properties are modified later.
1.11. Administration and management
The profile list includes a sorting column. Version 2.1.5 introduced an Apply button within the bonus payment block. The system supports mass bonus accrual and deduction, as well as user invoice recalculation via the interface. Settings retain the selected tab, and input fields feature contextual tooltips.
1.12. Compatibility and stability
The 'Bonus System. Loyalty Programs' module is a ready-made industrial solution for implementing a multi-level reward system in 1C-Bitrix e-commerce stores. It supports both simple scenarios, such as percentage-based rewards per order, and complex segmented loyalty programs that account for user behavior, purchase history, product categories, and delivery or payment methods.
Key technical specifications:
- Full support for PHP 8.
- Compatibility with 'Online Store + CRM' editions.
- Functional operation with or without cart rules.
- Stable order exchange with external trading platforms.
Primary tasks addressed by the module for store owners:
1. Increasing customer lifetime value (LTV) by awarding bonuses for repeat purchases, reviews, registration, and birthdays.
2. Stimulating specific behaviors:
- Increasing average order value (bonuses awarded for every fixed amount).
- Promoting specific products through individual bonuses in product cards.
- Attracting new customers via a referral system.
3. Margin control:
- Ability to exclude bonuses for promotional items.
- Configuration of separate conditions for products already discounted.

The functionality includes deferred bonus accrual, where bonuses become active only after specific operations are completed, such as a product return. The system automates processes via email notifications regarding bonus accrual and impending expiration, and allows linking accrual to order statuses, for example, after the customer receives the goods.
For developers and integrators, the following capabilities are provided:
1. Rapid deployment through automatic integration with standard components of the basic 1C-Bitrix online store template, including the shopping cart, checkout, product card, and personal account.
2. Flexible customization via REST API for connecting mobile applications and external systems, as well as through events for implementing non-standard logic. The module saves a snapshot of bonus logic within the order to prevent calculation errors.
3. Multi-site support with the ability to configure different rules for different domains or brands.
4. System transparency ensured by extended logging and the ability to reconstruct the reasons for specific accrual profiles being triggered.
For customers, the following features are available:
1. Viewing the exact amount of bonuses to be credited for the current order directly in the shopping cart.
2. The ability to pay for part or the entire order using bonuses during checkout.
3. Receiving clear notifications about new accruals and warnings about the impending expiration of points.
4. Access to a complete history of accruals and deductions in the personal account.
The bonus system and loyalty program module enables flexible configuration of point accrual scenarios. New users receive a starter package upon registration and an additional bonus for their first order. Regular customers accumulate a percentage of each purchase amount and receive a fixed sum on their birthday. Large orders can trigger an increased accrual rate, such as 10% on amounts exceeding 10,000 rubles. For promotional items, bonus accrual can be disabled or reduced by half to maintain margin. The referral system awards points to both the referrer and the referred user after the referred user places an order via the link. A separate loyalty profile can be configured for legal entities. The system automatically notifies users seven days before their accumulated points expire, for example, when 500 points are at risk.
The technical implementation ensures the module works out of the box with minimal configuration. The solution is compatible with standard 1C-Bitrix logic and supports a mode to disable bonus payments without disrupting native functionality. Accrual rules are fixed at the time of order placement, ensuring calculation predictability. Regular updates, code audits, and support for new core and PHP versions ensure security and stability.
Support includes documentation, video materials, and articles. A dedicated section contains full documentation regarding the solution's capabilities. Integration of the module onto a website by technical support staff is provided separately on a paid basis.
