WRP: Delivery Calendar

What this solution does

The Delivery Calendar module provides flexible configuration of available dates and time slots, accounting for the Russian production calendar, store-specific rules, and order processing specifics via a unified interactive widget. The solution enables management of the following parameters: available delivery dates, time ranges, rules for shortened, weekend, and holiday days, time cutoffs, the production calendar, and corporate calendars. It also allows customization of the date and time picker widget and the pop-up calendar appearance. Styling is configured through the administrative interface without modifying site templates; supported options include colors, margins, sizes, borders, border-radius, buttons, and custom CSS classes, ensuring adaptation to any design. The module supports multi-site environments, various templates, and different order property sets. It extends the standard checkout capabilities of the bitrix:sale.order.ajax component.

The 'Delivery Calendar' module allows creating separate delivery rules for different websites, website templates, and order properties of the 'string' type. If no websites are selected, the rule applies to all system resources.

Each rule manages day type availability, date and time selection, time cutoffs, the production calendar, the company's own calendar, and the display of the date and time widget.

The 'General Parameters' block sets basic rule settings and its scope. Available options include rule activation, rule name, sort order, website assignment, and template assignment.

The 'Delivery Restrictions and Time' block contains settings for date and time selection logic. The 'Date' tab allows managing date availability and replacing the standard order field with a date picker widget. Available settings include selecting order properties of the 'string' type, blocking delivery on holidays and shortened days, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays. Additional options cover cutoffs for the current day, before weekends, before holidays, and on shortened days. The date selection horizon and start date offset are also configurable.

The module automatically calculates available delivery dates based on the production calendar and user-defined constraints.

Time Tab

Allows management of delivery time ranges. Available settings include:

selection of time properties (string type);

offset for orders placed today;

time ranges for all days;

time ranges for Saturdays;

time ranges for Sundays;

time ranges for holidays;

time ranges for shortened days.

For the current date, time ranges that are no longer available due to the specified offset are automatically hidden.

Calendar Tab

Calendar rules are generated based on the Russian production calendar with the ability to apply company-specific overrides. The following day types can be configured:

working day;

shortened day;

holiday;

Saturday;

Sunday;

company working day;

company shortened day;

company holiday;

company Saturday;

company Sunday.

The system supports the mode: "use production calendar as a base".

Calendar management is performed directly in the interface: a left click on a date toggles its type.

Appearance Tab

The WRP: Delivery Calendar module allows flexible customization of the date and time picker widget's appearance without modifying site templates.

General Block

Widget container settings include border visibility, color, and thickness, corner radius, background display and color, as well as external and internal padding and maximum width. CSS variables are supported.

Values Block

Date and time styling settings within the widget: font size and weight for date and time, time placement, and text color.

Button Block

Date and time change button settings: position, button style, text, button and text colors, additional CSS classes, and external padding for the date, time, and button elements.

A built-in widget preview updates in real time.

Popup Tab

Customization of the delivery date and time selection window that opens when a user interacts with the widget on the checkout page. All changes are displayed in real time in the built-in preview.

Pop-up calendar appearance settings allow control over the border display: visibility, color, thickness, and corner radius. Background parameters can also be configured, including visibility, color, calendar width, and internal padding. Color selection supports both built-in palette values and custom CSS variables.

Header Block

Settings for the pop-up calendar header and current month name. Available options include header color, font size, and font weight. Custom CSS variables are also supported for color settings.

Confirmation Button Block

Settings for the button confirming the selected date and time. Parameters include button text, background color, text color, border color, border thickness, and border radius. An additional CSS class from the site template can be specified to fully integrate the button into the existing project design. Both built-in palette values and custom CSS variables are supported for all color settings.

Preview

The preview with a floating block updates automatically when settings change, allowing you to evaluate the widget's appearance without saving the configuration or navigating to the public site.

The Production Calendar section contains data for the Russian Federation for the current and future years. The page displays all months of the selected year, along with weekends, public holidays, and shortened workdays.

The module provides storage for calendar data, automatic updates, and calendar loading. The calendar is displayed for the upcoming year and is used in delivery rules.

The built-in automatic update agent runs once daily. It updates data for the current and next year by automatically downloading changes to the production calendar. The agent's status, along with the dates of the last and next runs, is displayed for monitoring.

The Time Ranges section contains a general reference list of delivery intervals. Created intervals are used within delivery date rules. The system supports configuring intervals for regular days, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

The module supports compressed working days and user-defined calendar overrides.

When creating a time range, you specify the range name, sort order, start time, and end time. Centralized storage of these settings simplifies maintenance and enables configuration reuse.
