This module intercepts fatal errors and unhandled exceptions occurring on the website. Detected issues are automatically logged in the event journal. The administrator receives an immediate notification via two channels: an alert within the administrative panel and an email message.
The module addresses three key issues. First, if the site is down and hosting logs are empty or inaccessible, the module records the error in the system event log, making it visible alongside other system events. Second, errors are detected proactively rather than waiting for customer complaints, as the module displays a pop-up notification in the administrative panel and sends an email to the administrator. Third, the source of the error becomes immediately clear because the log entry includes the file name, line number, and call stack for exceptions.
The module intercepts fatal PHP errors, including those that terminate script execution. It also captures unhandled exceptions while preserving the full call stack. All critical errors are logged in the event log with the event type '[WL_ERROR_NOTIFICATION] Critical error' and ERROR level, allowing them to be easily filtered from other entries. Administrators receive a pop-up notification in the control panel and an email via the standard 1C-Bitrix mechanism. The recipient address for error notifications is configured within the module interface.
The module tracks fatal errors and unhandled exceptions. Warnings (E_WARNING), notices (E_NOTICE), and deprecated constructs (E_DEPRECATED) are intentionally ignored to prevent log clutter.
The same error message is recorded in the log no more than once per day to avoid duplication.
The module interface is administrative only. There are no public components, templates, or pages, and the module does not affect site layout.
The module does not collect user personal data and does not transmit data to third-party services.
