What this solution does

Standard cookie consent banners often fail in practice: if analytics scripts execute before a visitor responds, data is collected without legal basis, rendering the banner merely decorative. The Vintra Cookie Banner module resolves this by ensuring all counters and pixels remain blocked until explicit user consent is obtained.

The module prevents the execution of analytics tools prior to confirmation. It includes eleven pre-configured sets for Yandex.Metrica with Webvisor, Google Analytics and Tag Manager, Top.Mail.ru, VK Pixel and VK Ads, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Roistat, Calltouch, Comagic and UIS, as well as JivoSite and Bitrix24 widgets. Adding a custom counter requires inserting a single line of code.

A built-in self-check feature analyzes the website's homepage to identify scripts that are genuinely blocked and detect those that were found but inadvertently missed. This verification process ensures system accuracy without relying solely on configuration settings.

Three banner display options are available: a horizontal bar at the bottom, a card in the corner, or a centered window with a dimmed background. Text content, button labels, and color schemes are fully customizable.

The module supports granular category configuration, including necessary, analytics, and marketing categories. Users define the names and descriptions for each category, ensuring that consent is truly informed.

Users retain the right to withdraw consent at any time. After the initial response, a compact button remains in the corner of the screen, allowing users to return to the selection settings.

The module maintains a consent log recording the date, selected categories, text version, and page. The log can be exported to CSV format. This feature is disabled by default.

The system links consent to specific text versions. If the text is substantially changed, a single action allows re-requesting consent from all users.

Settings, text content, and consent logs are stored separately for each site within the system.

Technical details

The decision to launch trackers is made by the browser, not the server. Since the page is delivered identically to all visitors, the module does not interfere with Bitrix composite caching and does not generate page duplicates.

The log does not store visitor IP addresses. Instead, it records an irreversible fingerprint: this allows identifying that multiple consents came from the same user, but the original address cannot be recovered. Storing personal data solely for consent verification is unnecessary.

Trackers are identified by a unique fragment of their own code, so the insertion method is irrelevant: it can be a template, a component, or a manually inserted script.
