What this solution does
The Schema.org Microdata module for 1C-Bitrix automatically generates JSON-LD markup. This helps search engines, such as Google, Yandex, and Bing, correctly identify the content type on a page—product, service, organization, article, or other object—and extract associated data. Based on this information, search engines generate rich snippets in search results, displaying price, availability, ratings, breadcrumbs, and other page details.
Key features:
One-time setup: create rules for required pages, after which JSON-LD generation occurs automatically.
Current data: names, prices, availability, images, descriptions, and other details are pulled directly from the website.
Automatic updates: changes to products, services, or articles are immediately reflected in the markup without re-entry.
Unified system: markup for products, services, organizations, branches, articles, breadcrumbs, and other objects is configured within a single module.
Supported Schema.org types:
The module supports 17 markup types, including Organization, LocalBusiness (office, store, branch, or other local business point), and Product.
The module generates Schema.org microdata in JSON-LD format for the following types: ProductGroup (product with variants), Offer (offer), AggregateOffer (aggregate offer), OfferCatalog (offer catalog), Service (service), BreadcrumbList (breadcrumbs), Article (article), BlogPosting (blog posting), NewsArticle (news article), VideoObject (video), WebSite (website), WebPage (web page), AggregateRating (aggregate rating), and Review (review). For non-standard scenarios, the module provides a CustomJsonLd mode for manual addition of custom JSON-LD markup.
The module unifies Schema.org objects into a single structure and establishes links between them. Objects are generated within a unified JSON-LD graph (@graph) and receive stable @id values. Search engines receive a connected data structure rather than isolated markup fragments. Example links: Organization → Website → Page → Product / Service / Article; Page → Breadcrumbs.
The microdata is generated from current 1C-Bitrix data.
The module provides flexible configuration of Schema.org microdata in JSON-LD format for products, services, organizations, breadcrumbs, and articles. For each Schema.org field, you can specify the data source: element or section fields of information blocks, element properties, offer properties, Trade Catalog data, SEO fields, system page data, fixed values, or automatically determined parameters. For instance, the product name is taken from the NAME field, the brand from the BRAND property, and price and availability from the Trade Catalog. Before generating code, the module automatically transforms values, normalizing URLs, prices, dates, and stock status to match the Schema.org format.
Markup rules apply to specific pages or groups of pages without requiring individual configuration for each URL. Markup can be assigned to the entire site, the homepage, specific URLs, information blocks, sections, or individual elements. Precise configuration is supported via URL masks, regular expressions, and exclusions.
The module enables the creation of Schema.org microdata rules for various content types. For instance, a single Product rule can be applied to all product cards within an information block, an Article rule to a news section, and a Service rule to service pages. In a multisite installation, rules and settings can be configured individually for each site.
Ready-made rule sets are provided to accelerate setup for standard projects, including online stores, service websites, corporate sites, information portals, blogs, and news media outlets. Users simply select the project type, the specific site, and the required information blocks; the module then generates a basic Schema.org rule set. This foundation can be used immediately or customized to match the specific site structure.
