The module accelerates image display on the site by compressing images. When enabled, files can be converted to the modern WebP format for additional optimization. If a browser does not support WebP, the image is displayed in its original format, typically JPG or PNG.

Technical details:
The module processes images whose metadata is stored in the b_file table, as well as files located in the /upload/resize_cache directory.
Compression is performed using external utilities: optipng, jpegoptim, or gifsicle, selected based on the file extension.
Upon activation, a background agent is created that invokes the \Techdir\Rci\ResizeContentImage::checkImages() method every minute. This method sequentially processes records from the b_file table. If the Log to rci_list table option is enabled, operation results are recorded in the rci_list table.
