The module provides fields for Open Graph and Twitter tags for site elements and sections, allowing users to fill them in. It supports setting a default image for both platforms. Data is cached to prevent unnecessary database queries and reduce server load. The system allows adding specific page exceptions.
Configuration includes defining the priority order for value assignment algorithms. The following fields are configurable:
og:title — taken from the page title.
og:description — taken from the page meta description.
og:type — set to the site name.
og:image:secure_url — image link if the protocol is strictly HTTPS.
twitter:card — card type selection (summary or large summary).
twitter:title — taken from the page title.
twitter:site — set to the site name.
twitter:creator — author name (for news or articles).
twitter:description — taken from the page meta description.
twitter:image:alt — taken from the image alt attribute.
