Snova — Loyalty Cards in the Buyer's Phone

What this solution does

The customer receives a loyalty card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, accumulates points for orders, and uses them to pay for part of the next order directly during checkout. The store receives a customer database with consents, the ability to send push notifications to cards, and audience segmentation tools in the control panel.

The shopping cart displays a block with the balance and a field to deduct points. The discount is applied according to standard cart rules: it appears as a separate line item in the order and does not override existing discount rules.

During checkout, there is an option to create a loyalty card. The card is created with the order, and welcome points can be spent immediately in the same transaction.

The 'My Points' section in the personal account displays the balance, level, transaction history, and a button to add the card to the phone. The balance on the card in the wallet updates automatically after payment or refund.

The module awards points upon order payment or when the status changes to 'Completed' — the choice is made by the administrator. The setting allows including or excluding delivery costs in the points calculation.

If an order is cancelled or refunded, the system automatically reverses both the points awarded and those deducted. The admin panel maintains a transaction log showing the amounts credited and spent.

The solution works on multiple websites within a single installation: each site has its own key and individual settings.

The loyalty card is tied to a confirmed phone number. If store login by phone is enabled, that number is used. Otherwise, the customer confirms the number with a code once in their personal account or during checkout. Points are not deducted based on the profile number; any number can be entered.

An account in the 'Snova' service (snovacard.ru) is required. The module key is issued free of charge on any tariff, including the free one; the limit is the number of cards available on your tariff. The module transmits the customer's phone number, name, and order amount to the service only if the customer has checked the box consenting to participate in the program. Without consent, data is not transmitted and no card is created. Your store is the personal data operator; the 'Snova' service processes the data on your behalf.

The module source code is open; no obfuscation is used.
