The functionality includes creating custom rules for any project task. Administrators can enable or disable the module and individual redirects with a few clicks. Flexible scenarios are supported: redirecting to HTTPS, managing www and non-www versions, adding or removing trailing slashes in URLs, and stripping unnecessary parameters.
Built-in automatic URL normalization redirects requests from index.php to the site root and converts URLs to lowercase. Transition statistics help evaluate the performance of configured rules. For bulk updates, the module supports importing from Excel files (.xlsx) with convenient column mapping.
Using the module increases site indexability, reduces the number of duplicate pages, and makes navigation more predictable for users.
