What this solution does
Scode: Catalog Health is a module for automated quality auditing of the trade catalog within the 1C-Bitrix environment. The tool identifies errors and problematic items by verifying prices, stock levels, images, trade offers, SEO parameters, and custom properties. The system calculates an overall catalog health score ranging from 0 to 100 points and generates a report classifying detected issues by severity.
Product checks include identifying items without images, images with missing disk files, or images exceeding size limits. The module also detects products not linked to a section, those lacking an article number, as well as duplicate article numbers and XML_IDs. It further identifies elements missing a trade catalog record.
Price and stock control monitors for missing prices, zero prices, zero stock, and negative stock levels. The QUANTITY_TRACE parameter for quantity accounting is taken into consideration.
Trade offer (SKU) auditing verifies the presence of active offers for a product and validates the price and stock for each offer, including the detection of zero and negative values.
The SEO module checks for the presence of META TITLE and META DESCRIPTION fields and ensures correct application of inherited SEO templates from 1C-Bitrix. Custom property validation is also performed.
The Scode: Catalog Health module enables independent configuration of property controls for each trading catalog. For every attribute, validation rules can be defined: mandatory completion, value uniqueness, minimum and maximum numeric limits, criticality level, and the option to apply rules only to specific catalog sections. For instance, you can enforce mandatory filling for fields such as Brand, Article Number, Color, Weight, Country of Origin, or Warranty.
The solution is optimized for large-scale catalogs. Validation runs in batches, allowing processing of extensive product databases without requiring a single request to handle the entire catalog. If a check is interrupted, a background agent automatically resumes the scan. Periodic automatic catalog checks are also supported.
Upon completion of the scan, administrators receive a comprehensive report containing the overall catalog health score, the number of products checked, the total count of detected issues, a breakdown of errors by type, the criticality level of each problem, and a detailed list of specific products requiring attention.
The module operates within the site's administrative panel and does not affect the online store's appearance for visitors.
