The Dynamic Delivery Intervals Lite module is a free solution for 1C-Bitrix editions that include the 'Online Store' module. It allows customers to select the nearest convenient delivery interval during checkout, specifying a specific date and time range.
Unlike the standard approach where a manager manually enters a list of intervals in the admin panel, this module recalculates available slots with each request. The system independently determines the current date, assembly time, holidays, weekends, and working days that may differ from calendar dates. Customers are shown only the options that are realistically available for fulfillment.
The solution is implemented as an official additional delivery service (ExtraServices) within the standard 1C-Bitrix API. This allows the module to be connected to existing delivery services in a single configuration step, without requiring logistics restructuring or creating separate delivery services for each interval.
The module automatically calculates available delivery time slots. During checkout, customers see only valid options, such as «today from 18:00 to 20:00» or «Friday, August 14 from 10:00 to 12:00». The system excludes past times and days when delivery is not available.
Scheduling is configured separately for each day of the week. Any number of time ranges can be defined for Monday, Saturday, Sunday, or any other day.
The order preparation time setting determines how many hours before a slot starts it becomes unavailable for selection. This ensures the warehouse has sufficient time to assemble the order.
The display horizon for time slots is adjustable by the number of days in advance, for example, one or two weeks.
Holidays and special non-working periods can be set as individual dates or ranges, such as «New Year holidays». Each period can have a custom label for administrator convenience.
The forced working days feature allows marking a weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as working, or temporarily enabling a day previously listed as a holiday, without modifying the main list of days off.
The 'Dynamic Delivery Intervals Lite' module enables quick disabling of weekend deliveries. Separate toggles allow shops that do not operate on Saturdays or Sundays to hide intervals for those specific days.
The system performs a re-validation of the selected time slot during checkout. If the chosen interval becomes unavailable due to the expiration of the preparation window or a sudden change in the day's status, the order will not be created. Instead, the customer receives a clear error message, preventing orders with delivery dates in the past from entering the system.
To improve user experience, delivery intervals in the checkout form are labeled with intuitive text such as 'today' or 'tomorrow' followed by the day of the week, rather than using raw dates. This approach reduces selection errors and decreases the volume of support inquiries.
In the admin panel, managers always see the exact delivery date, for example, 'Fri, Aug 14 from 10:00 to 12:00'. Relative terms like 'today' and 'tomorrow' are reserved strictly for the selection interface; in order records viewed later, they are replaced with specific dates to avoid confusion.
The Dynamic Delivery Intervals Lite module preserves delivery time selection history even when an order is processed after the selected slot has expired. In the order card, the manager sees the chosen interval marked as '(expired)', preventing loss of information regarding agreements with the customer.
Configuration requires no programming and is performed directly within the standard 1C-Bitrix administration panel. Settings are organized into three tabs: 'Main', 'Schedule', and 'Holidays'.
The administrative interface includes native Russian and English localization.
On the checkout page, customers are presented with a dropdown list of the nearest available delivery slots. The list updates automatically; intervals are hidden if the order preparation time has expired or if the day is marked as non-working.
In the order card within the administration panel, the customer's selected interval is displayed with a specific date and time. Expired intervals remain visible in the record and are marked as '(expired)', ensuring a complete and unambiguous order history.
The Rover Interval Lite module enables customers to select dynamic delivery time slots during the checkout process. This feature becomes available automatically when the courier delivery service is selected.
