MODULE FOR 1C-BITRIX
Okunev Vitaly Sergeevich
The Okunev Agency Try-On module adds a virtual clothing try-on feature based on user photos to 1C-Bitrix online stores. A customer uploads their photo, confirms consent for its transmission to the AI service, and receives an image showing how the selected product would look on them. The functionality is available directly in the product card after the component is connected.
The system works with products and offers from standard information blocks in 1C-Bitrix. Product images can be loaded from the detailed view, the announcement image, or a property of the File type. Users see a preview of their uploaded photo, the processing status, and the final result. The history retains up to six recent try-ons for the current product within the storage period.
Users can view and delete their uploaded photos and generated results. Administrators can configure launch limits for individual visitors and for the entire store over a sliding 24-hour window. Protection against re-executing the same task upon duplicate requests is implemented. Expired photos are automatically cleaned up when 1C-Bitrix agents run regularly.
The component includes two adaptive templates: the main template and the compact template. The feature is available for both registered users and guests.
By default, the virtual try-on feature is available only to authorized users. An administrator can enable try-on without registration in the module's general settings.
In guest mode, activity history and access to generated images are tied to the visitor's current session. Each new guest session receives a separate personal limit, which operates in conjunction with the store's overall limit.
Adaptation to store design
Developers can modify HTML markup, styles, and element positioning while preserving documented attributes. The logic for sending requests and processing results is moved to a general JavaScript extension, while the result card markup is placed in the component template.
The font is automatically inherited from the main site; styles of standard templates are limited to the widget's scope. Instructions for creating a custom design are included in the module delivery in the file CUSTOMIZATION.md.
AI service and additional costs
The external service FASHN AI is used for image generation. The website owner requires their own API key and a positive balance of FASHN API credits.
Using the FASHN service is not included in the module license cost and is paid by the website owner directly to the service provider.
The Okunev Agency Try-On module provides virtual clothing try-on using the FASHN service with the Try-On Max model in balanced mode. Generation is performed at 1k resolution with a single output result.
Service costs depend on the tariff plan. One successful generation consumes 2 API credits. Under the On-Demand tariff, the price is 0.15 USD per result, with a minimum purchase starting at 100 credits for 7.50 USD. Service tariffs are subject to change; current conditions should be verified in the FASHN API documentation.
The API key is used exclusively on the server and is never transmitted to the buyer's browser. The customer's photo and the product image are sent to the FASHN server via the site server. Before data transmission, the buyer must confirm consent for photo processing.
Source photos and try-on results are stored on the merchant's side in a separate private directory located outside the site's public directory. Access to these files is controlled by ownership and retention period. The administrator sets a retention period ranging from 1 to 72 hours. Visitors may delete their source photo and try-on result before the expiration date. However, deleting files from the store does not cancel the task already submitted to FASHN, nor does it refund spent API credits or the local launch limit. The data processing order by the external service is governed by separate FASHN terms.
The module does not automatically modify product cards. A developer connects the component within the product card template, passing the product ID. For a trade offer, the offer ID is passed; automatic switching of the try-on mode when selecting a color or size requires integration with the site template.
Local product images accessible via CFile are supported. Cloud file storage is not supported in the current version.
AI visualization helps to preliminarily evaluate the look, but it does not determine the size and does not guarantee accurate clothing fit.
Technical requirements
1C-Bitrix: Site Management, main module version 23.0.0 or newer, Information Blocks module.
PHP 8.2 or newer; GD library with support for JPEG, PNG, and WEBP formats.
EXIF is recommended for correct orientation of photos taken with a phone; the recommended memory_limit is 256 MB or higher.
MySQL or MariaDB. Support for PostgreSQL and cluster configurations is not declared in the current version.
Outgoing HTTPS connections to api.fashn.ai are required.
A separate private directory outside the DOCUMENT_ROOT is required, accessible for read and write by PHP, but not published by the web server.
The Okunev Agency Try-On module ensures regular execution of 1C-Bitrix agents for virtual clothing try-on tasks. To organize background processing and data cleaning without requiring site visits, it is recommended to configure agent execution via cron. For the module to function correctly, the site must use the HTTPS protocol, and users must employ modern browsers.
