Catalog check before advertising

What this solution does

The Media Targeting "Catalog Check Before Advertising" module verifies catalog data in the site's administrative panel before launching advertising campaigns or after synchronization with 1C. Users select a catalog, price type, sections, and required properties. The system analyzes the data and generates a list of remarks, highlighting product cards that require attention.

The module performs five checks:

1. Presence of a positive price of the selected type for a simple product or an active SKU. A separate price for a parent card containing an SKU is not required.

2. Presence of an assigned and accessible local image. For SKUs, the parent card's image is permitted.

3. Completion of selected product properties of types "String", "Number", and "List". The check does not apply to custom property types. Values of "zero" and saved "no" are not considered missing data.

4. Presence of at least one active offer with a positive price for an active parent card.

5. Stock quantity taking into account quantity accounting and the "buy without stock" setting. An allowed pre-order is not flagged as an error.

The report separately counts problematic records and remarks, displays excluded and unsupported records, allows selecting a check, opening a product card, and downloading a CSV file for the selected filter. Scanning is performed in batches; stopping and resuming are available. An incomplete result is not presented as a final report.

Catalog Check Before Advertising

One profile and the final report are shared across all sites running the CMS. The module processes up to 10,000 records including SKUs, covering excluded and unsupported items. The maximum number of mandatory properties is 50, and selected sections are limited to 100. Access is restricted to administrators only. The catalog structure and public site template remain unchanged. No cloud account, advertising APIs, or additional paid services are required.

Compatibility: Small Business edition with UTF-8 encoding. Tested with component versions main 26.150.0, iblock 25.300.0, and catalog 25.550.0. Validation was performed on Windows with PHP 8.2.35 and 8.3.36, MySQL 8.4.13, as well as on BitrixVM 9.0.9 with PHP 8.4.27 and Percona 8.0.44. The PHP 8.2 branch is supported; versions PHP 8.3 from 8.3.36 and PHP 8.4 from 8.4.27 are also allowed. The specified exact versions have been tested. PHP 8.5, other editions, PostgreSQL, and non-standard document_root values are not declared.

Limitations: Only standard storage for prices, stock levels, and local photos is supported. Sets, bundles, external images and prices, discounts, as well as personal and regional prices are not supported. The report does not verify feeds, advertising moderation, or actual purchases on the storefront. Run the check after the data exchange with 1C is completed.

The Media Targeting module named Catalog Check Before Advertising, version 0.1.4 RC4, is a candidate for acceptance testing on a test stand. Independent manual verification is not yet complete. Direct opening of a CSV file in Excel for Windows was tested; the file contained Cyrillic characters, seven columns, line breaks within names, and formula protection. The legacy Text Wizard for handling multi-line fields is not suitable. Power Query was not included in the verified feature matrix. A commercial release has not been announced yet.
