What this solution does
The module replaces the standard 1C-Bitrix location selection on the checkout page (sale.order.ajax component), the delivery calculation block on product cards (edost.catalogdelivery), and in the admin panel when creating an order or editing a shipment.
An active paid subscription to the eDost service is required for the module to function. The service provides delivery cost calculations via Russian Post, DPD, PEK, Zheleznodorog, and other logistics operators.
Module capabilities:
1. Automatic location detection based on GPS coordinates or IP address.
2. Input of Russian populated areas with autocomplete support (database includes approximately 200,000 cities, villages, hamlets, and other objects).
3. Input of streets, avenues, lanes, and postal codes with autocomplete support.
4. Automatic display or hiding of address fields depending on the selected delivery service.
5. City selection in the website header.
6. Input of passport data for orders placed via transport companies.
7. Support for the standard 1C-Bitrix checkout template and all available eDost templates.
