What this solution does
The module provides integration between the 1C-Bitrix platform and VK Object Storage (S3) via the VK Cloud service. Operation requires an active VK Cloud account with the storage service enabled.
The solution is designed for the automatic transfer of large backup files, media assets, and the contents of the upload directory to the fault-tolerant VK Cloud storage. It supports exporting all files or specific directories by specifying the server path, as well as synchronizing files and folders according to the existing cloud directory structure.
The module offers an administrative interface and backend automation for process management. Key features include:
Multi-site support: Synchronization rules and cloud disk structure can be managed and viewed independently for each site (LID) within the system via convenient administrative tabs.
Step-by-step manual synchronization with progress bar: This mechanism prevents web server timeouts (such as Nginx 504 Gateway Timeout) when handling large directories exceeding 100 GB. The scanning and file transfer process is executed through sequential AJAX sessions, displaying the actual completion percentage from 0 to 100% on the screen.
A flexible task scheduler based on 1C-Bitrix agents allows configuring the automatic synchronization schedule for folders directly through the interface. Available modes include every hour, every day at a specific time, and every week on a specific day and hour.
The module is optimized for high loads: during background operation, files are uploaded in batches of 50 new objects per request. Files already present in the cloud and matching in size are automatically skipped. This prevents server overload.
Mirror two-way synchronization is implemented. Changes on the server are tracked automatically. When local files or folders are renamed or deleted, outdated markers and objects are instantly removed from the VK Cloud bucket.
Full support for Cyrillic and special characters is provided. File names, empty folders in Russian, and paths with spaces are encoded strictly according to the AWS Signature V4 specification (rawurlencode). This eliminates S3 SignatureDoesNotMatch authorization errors.
The interface follows the unified design of the 1C-Bitrix control panel. It includes interactive breadcrumbs, a quick return button, folder creation, and a context menu for file management.
The module requires the PHP CURL library to function. Its architecture follows Bitrix standards and includes AJAX controllers, business logic, agents, and helpers. The codebase contains no hardcoded language strings; all text resources are stored in localization files within the lang/ru/ directory. Secure interaction with the S3 API is ensured through canonical authorization header generation. The developer is not affiliated with VK but has built the service with care and is ready to assist with any issues.
General iT can connect “Integration with VK Object Storage (S3)”, install and configure the module, and make sure the integration works correctly.
