Sorting panel for item lists (catalog, news)
The module generates a sorting panel for components that display element lists, such as news.list or catalog.section. Sorting is available by name, newness, popularity, price, and custom infoblock properties. Six sorting direction options are provided. The system can save the selected sort type and direction in the user session.
The module generates a sorting panel for components that display element lists, such as news.list or catalog.section. Sorting is available by name, newness, popularity, price, and custom infoblock properties. Six sorting direction options are provided. The system can save the selected sort type and direction in the user session. Fields and properties for sorting are configured via a visual interface without code editing. Two templates are included: one displays the sort field and direction separately, while the other toggles the direction upon re-clicking the selected sort type. The panel supports auto-caching to eliminate unnecessary database queries and improve site response speed. The module is compatible with PHP versions 5.4 through 7.0 inclusive. Support for PHP versions earlier than 5.4 is not planned.
