What this solution does
Standard SMS providers typically charge high fees for sending messages, whereas the cost per message in your mobile plan is often significantly lower. This module enables sending SMS from a website via your own smartphone, provided that the sender name is not critical and using a standard mobile number instead of an alphanumeric identifier is acceptable.
Operation requires installing the module in the Bitrix administration panel and a companion Android application developed by the open-source community. The application can be downloaded from the project's releases section. After installation, you must enter the login and password generated by the application into the module settings.
The Android application is open-source software with its source code available on GitHub, and it is used by thousands of users worldwide. As the application was developed by third parties, we do not assume responsibility for its functionality.
In the main module settings, you can specify the default SMS sender. Detailed instructions with illustrations are available in the official documentation.
