What this solution does
The classnyisait.gifts module automates gift distribution in an online store shopping cart. It adds a product with a zero price when conditions defined in standard Bitrix shopping cart rules are met and automatically removes the gift if those conditions are no longer satisfied (for example, if the order total drops below the threshold).
Promotion configuration remains in the standard Bitrix section: Marketing → Product Marketing → Shopping Cart Rules, using the action "Give product as a gift." This allows marketers to independently manage active dates, price thresholds, and gift items without developer involvement.
Module capabilities:
• Automatically adds a gift when rule conditions are met.
• Automatically removes the gift when conditions change.
• Respects the rule's active status and validity period (ACTIVE_FROM / ACTIVE_TO).
• Supports multiple concurrent rules with different products and thresholds.
The module implements an automatic gift addition mode. If active discount rules specify exactly one unique gift item, the standard Bitrix gift selection block in the cart is hidden, as the item is already added automatically. When multiple gift options are available, the standard selection interface remains active. Items added to the cart by the customer for a fee retain their catalog price and do not become free. Upon module removal, gift data is cleared from incomplete carts, while the discount rules themselves remain intact.
Module settings allow specifying URL prefixes for cart pages to trigger recalculation upon visit, selecting CSS selectors for the gift block to hide it based on the template, and configuring text, colors, border radius, and margins for the 'Your Gifts' block in Russian and English.
To display gifts as a separate styled block instead of a row in the general table, the bitrix:sale.basket.basket component template requires adaptation. The solution package includes an example override implementation (mutator.php and component_epilog.php). The core logic for automatic addition functions correctly without visual customization.
System requirements:
1C-Bitrix: Site Management (editions containing the 'Online Store' module)
The module is compatible with the main, sale, and catalog components. It requires PHP version 8.1 or higher, with versions 8.2 or 8.3 recommended. Installation and configuration require administrator privileges.

Auto-gifts in the cart
The module automatically adds gift items to the buyer's cart when standard cart operation rules are met (Marketing → Product Marketing → Cart Operation Rules, action "Give a product as a gift"). No separate campaign administration is required — the marketer manages the threshold, product, and dates in the familiar Bitrix interface.
Key features:
— automatic addition of a gift upon reaching the threshold amount;
— automatic removal of the gift if the amount falls below the threshold again;
— tracking of rule activity and the ACTIVE_FROM / ACTIVE_TO period;
— multiple rules with different products and thresholds operate simultaneously;
— auto-gift mode (exactly one unique gift product): hides the standard Bitrix gift selection block;
— customizable CSS selectors for the hidden block — compatible with any cart template;
— configuration of text (RU/EN), colors, border radius, and spacing for the "Your Gifts" block;
— a paid entry for the same product (if added by the buyer themselves) does not become free;
— upon module removal, auto-gifts are cleared from incomplete carts.
Installation: via Marketplace or by copying to /bitrix/modules (or /local/modules) → Install.
After installation, create a rule with the action "Give a product as a gift" and specify the cart URL in the module settings.
For a separately styled gift block in the cart, adaptation of the bitrix:sale.basket.basket template is recommended (an override example is included with the solution).
