What this solution does
The Stranke PWA module converts a website built on any edition of 1C-Bitrix into a Progressive Web App (PWA). This allows clients to interact with the resource through an interface that mimics a native mobile application.
Configuration involves installing the module, uploading an icon, and selecting a color scheme. Once activated, the technology enables full-screen mode operation on compatible devices.
On Android platforms (Chrome browser), users are prompted to add the website to their home screen. Subsequently, the resource opens in full-screen mode without the browser address bar. On iOS, full automatic installation is unavailable due to Apple's restrictions; users can add the website to the home screen manually via the browser menu. Support is also implemented for Windows, Linux, Ubuntu, and macOS, where a website icon can be placed on the desktop for full-screen usage.
The module requires the HTTPS protocol to function correctly.
