Commercial Offer from Cart (PDF)

What this solution does

The module adds a button to the online store cart to generate a commercial proposal. With a single click, the client receives a PDF file containing the product list, prices, applied discounts, and total amount. The document is ready for printing or sending via email.

The key feature is that the PDF is generated directly in the user's browser. This eliminates server load and does not require sending data to external resources. The functionality works on any hosting environment.

Configurable settings include:

— Company logo with automatic cropping of transparent areas

— Company name and contact details (phone, email, address)

— Document text content: proposal title, disclaimer, and table footers

— Color scheme: accent color, table background, text color, and borders

— Price rounding rules (exact kopecks or whole numbers)

— Button placement (floating or within a container)

— Configuration to hide the SKU or select a product property to display as the SKU

— Button text and colors

Limitations:

— Fonts: only system fonts are supported (Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif). External fonts cannot be loaded due to limitations in the html2canvas library, which html2pdf depends on.

— The logo must be accessible via HTTP or HTTPS. CORS settings or same-origin policy are required for proper loading.

— Maximum logo size: 3000×3000 pixels (implemented to protect against DDoS attacks).

System requirements: browsers Chrome or Edge version 90 and above, Firefox 88+, Safari 14+. Internet Explorer 11 is not supported. PHP version 8.2 or higher is required for the module to function. In a multisite configuration, global settings apply to all sites; independent settings for each site are managed via options in the admin panel.

The module does not include built-in purchase functionality. It utilizes the open-source library html2pdf.js under the MIT license.
