What this solution does

The Distance Learning System module for 1C-Bitrix is designed for educational centers, online schools, and companies with corporate or mandatory training. The system enables course creation, testing and exams, management of students and groups, assignment of training, and control of results. 1C-Bitrix serves as the technological platform and administrative part. When needed, the module functions as a full-fledged online store with a catalog, shopping cart, and online payment. Students complete training via a separate adaptive interface and a PWA application.

When integrated with an online store, the sales and content delivery process is automated. One or more courses can be linked to a product. After a customer places and pays for an order, the system finds an existing student or creates a new one. Purchased courses are automatically added to the user's personal account. An email containing the link and login credentials is sent to the user. In case of a repeat purchase, no new profile is created; the system adds the course to the existing student's account. A single product can grant access to an individual course, a bundle, or a complete educational program.

Automatic course sales require 1C-Bitrix editions 'Small Business' or 'Business', along with a configured online store and payment processing. The system supports creating courses, sections, and lessons, and allows configuring their sequence and mandatory learning stages. Tests and exams can be set with time limits and attempt restrictions, including passing score thresholds and course completion conditions. Administrators manage students and learning groups, assigning training individually or in bulk. A progress log tracks attempts, scores, and final statuses.

The interface is adaptive for desktops and smartphones, and a PWA application is available without publication in app stores. Customization options include logos, colors, banners, and overall design. Online store products can be linked to one or multiple courses.

The module also operates as a standard learning management system without e-commerce integration. In this mode, administrators assign training to individual students or groups and monitor progress via logs and summary reports. The 'Start' edition of 1C-Bitrix or higher is sufficient for this scenario. The platform ensures data is hosted on your own infrastructure.

The distance learning module installs directly into the 1C-Bitrix system. All data, including students, courses, and results, is stored on your chosen hosting and is not transferred to any external cloud LMS service. The module license is not priced based on the number of students or courses. Actual performance depends on your server configuration and selected hosting. The system can be deployed on a new project or integrated into an existing website running a compatible version of 1C-Bitrix.

The module provides a learning platform infrastructure but does not include a library of ready-made commercial courses. Educational materials are created by the system owner. The package includes demo courses to familiarize users with the product structure and capabilities. Migration of courses and students from GetCourse, Olimpok, and other systems is supported; the scope, timeline, and cost of migration are determined individually after analyzing the source data. The 1C-Bitrix license, hosting, implementation services, data migration, and custom development are acquired or calculated separately.
